England and The Fear of God
The Fear of God is about to fall upon Justin Welby, (105th Archbishop of Canterbury) and the whole leadership of the Church of England!
I overheard this in the Spirit while watching Robin Bullock live this afternoon.
“The Fear of God is about to fall upon Justin Welby and the whole leadership of CofE!”
Then I sensed that while many will prostrate themselves before The LORD in repentance and joyful celebration, many more will scoff and scorn. Thus, revival will come to the Church of England and, in similar fashion, it will come to other main stream denominations.
This will cause serious divisions (wheat and tares?) and there will be much separation, much angst and “tearing of clothes/ robes” in frustration. But revival will come nevertheless and many shall be saved!
Then another Word came to me, related to this one, and it concerns fear of a different kind.
One really important thing will happen partly as a result of the separation and division.
On the one hand, the fear of the prophetic will stay firmly embedded in the Church that rejects The Fear of God. However, the Church which embraces and acknowledges The Fear of The LORD, will also fully embrace not only the prophetic, but all the five-fold ministry offices.
This is what The Spirit says to my spirit today.

Chris Bennett came to salvation in 1962 but didn’t begin ministry until 2007 — a late-comer! Now mandated by The LORD to prophesy and open old wells of revival in the U.K., but especially in Wales. He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them! Founder, with wife Linda, of their ministry The Upper Room Encounter.
There is a difference between revival coming to individual souls within the Church of England and revival coming to the Church of England. That is, the Lord saves souls not institutions. Institutional churches can also be counterfeits, ever since the Greek word “ekklesia” was later mistranslated as “church” (although not earlier by Tyndale) when it appeared in the New Testament.
The history of revival also shows that it tends to happen outside the established churches, which may even reject it. Thus, for example, John Wesley, although both a priest and loyal supporter of the Church of England, was banned from using its buildings during the great revival of the eighteenth century. I believe this pattern is going to persist, since the Lord is not going to allow His glory to be shared with any man, denomination or institution.
In total agreement.
Amen.
So Be It!!!
