The Father Is Recruiting NOW: The True Worshipers
NOW IS THE HOUR when WE the true worshipers must worship The Father in spirit and truth; as Jesus said, “for The Father is seeking such to worship Him,“ (John 4:23).
We must recognise and do in this hour exactly as The LORD said:
“…the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship The Father in spirit and truth; for The Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth,” John 4:23-24.
But what does it mean to worship God in Spirit and Truth?
To worship God in Spirit and Truth is to worship Him based on revelation, not emotions.
Revelation worship…. is Holy Spirit-generated and inspired. It flows from the inward man (the heart), by revelation of WHAT we worship. This revelation is gained through The Word and The Spirit.
If you know WHAT we worship, you will worship Him irrespective of your circumstances and emotions. Jesus said to the Samaritan woman at the well, “You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship…” (John 4:22).
“We know what we worship,” is worship by revelation knowledge; this is revelation worship.
Emotions worship on the other hand is based on fleshly affections, attachments and feelings. Yes, affections, attachments and feelings about “our fathers” — pride of heritage/ persons — “this mountain”/ “Jerusalem” — pride of place — (John 4:20-21).
You must give no place to pride. Pride is the core of the evil one. Don’t worship God as determined by denominational church heritage (or any other heritage), practice, music, etc.
Worship in spirit and truth is not determined and dictated by one’s heritage, the music, the singer and the setting. Worship in spirit and truth is generated and inspired by The Holy Spirit through revelation knowledge of God and His INDESCRIBABLE Gift of Eternal Life to us who believe.
Jesus said to the aforementioned woman, “If you knew The Gift of God, and WHO It is…” (John 4:10).
Worship in spirit and truth is all by revelation knowledge of The WHAT and The WHO of God. When you possess revelation knowledge of God (His WHAT and WHO), you will worship Him all the more even in the burning fiery furnace of trials.
This is worship in spirit and truth. And God always shows up in it. The Son of God shows up right there to set one free from bondage, as he did for the three Jews in Nebuchadnezzar’s burning fiery furnace heated seven times more than it usually was.
When you worship God in spirit and truth, Jesus will loose you, and be seen by your adversaries walking with you in the midst of the fire they have put you in.
Paul and Silas perfectly understood this mystery (hidden truth) of The Gospel of God: to worship Him in spirit and truth.
They had laid many stripes on them (beaten openly, just as you ARE by many trials right now), and then threw them into prison. The jailer put them into the inner prison (maximum security prison!) and fastened their feet in the stocks.
“But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.” Acts 16:25-26.
Do you see? Their chains were loosed when they chose, right in the midst of their trials of pain and persecution, to worship God in spirit and truth.
The same was the testimony of the three men: they chose to worship ONLY The TRUE God, and, although they had been bound and put in the fire, they were seen loose, walking in the midst of the fire; they were not hurt. And The Son of God was with them through it all, (See Daniel 3:8-30).
The three Jews were brought out of the fire and promoted (caused to prosper). May you also be brought out of the fire and promoted, caused to prosper as you worship God in spirit and truth. Amen.
King Jehoshaphat and his people understood and deployed this mystery too. They chose to worship God in spirit and truth when “a great multitude”, “came to battle against Jehoshaphat.” (2 Chronicles 20:2,1).
“And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before The LORD, worshiping The LORD.
Then the Levites of the children of the Kohathites and of the children of the Korahites stood up to praise The LORD God of Israel with voices loud and high.
And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to The LORD, and who should praise The Beauty of Holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise The LORD, For His mercy endures forever.”
Now when they began to sing and to praise, The LORD set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated,” (2 Chronicles 20:18-19,21,22 emphasis added).
“Holy brethren, partakers of The Heavenly Calling” (Hebrews 3:1), let us worship God in spirit and truth. This is the hour!
“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.
“Farewell” Acts 15:29.
~ Jacob Awagah
Jacob, an apostle of Jesus Christ by The Will of God, according to The Promise of Life which is in Christ Jesus, (2 Timothy 1:1). As John was, Jacob is the disciple whom JESUS loves, (John 13:23;19:26; 20:2; 21:7,20). And like Paul, Jacob is “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
“And having been perfected, He became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
“Praise The LORD, For His mercy endures forever.” Hallelujah !!!
