The Eyes Are Windows to the Soul
As I was meditating upon The LORD, He began to speak to me regarding the eyes.
Eyes: they are the windows to the soul of the individual.
These eyes are made to see light, darkness, to discern both evil and good, they can become dim or even blinded if we are not careful how we used them and take care of them since they are a gift from God.
And, these same eyes in the night when men sleep and fall into deep sleep will cause individuals to dream and to rest when both the soul and the body of man becomes weary and tired — that God may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride, to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword, (Job 33:15-18)
The LORD even said to me when these same eyes are not taken care of properly they will even become scaled by both wickedness, deceitfulness and the sin of darkness becoming lustful and even covetous if not led and guided by the Holy Ghost.
You see, Zedekiah reigned as the King of Jerusalem and he decided to do evil in the sight of God. He made a choice to walk after Jehoakim who also left off from following The LORD. And, this caused the wrath of God to be moved against them in the presence of The LORD.
Zedekiah rebelled not only against The LORD but he rebelled against the King of Babylon: Nebuchadnezzar and this caused Nebuchadnezzar to come against Jerusalem both him and all his army — causing the city of Jerusalem to come under siege.
This caused a famine without bread and war even broke out and the city became broken up because of their disobedience to God. And, because the Chaldeans were some where there hid out during war Zedekiah was taken captive both him and his sons as prisoners, and his men scattered.
All this happened to poor Zedekiah because he made a decision he no longer wanted to follow Jehovah any longer and he would follow behind Jehoiakim; instead — somebody who also had left God!
The enemy will trick us into thinking that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. Zedekiah lost everything he had. All because he thought he could make it without Jehovah in his life.
Although, it makes one wonder why would Zedekiah want to follow a man who disobeyed God in the first place? He had to be blinded by sin.
Both Jehoiakim and Zedekiah were sons of Josiah (2 Kings 23:34 and 2 Kings 24:17), but some allege that “Jehoiakim” in Jeremiah 27:1 is an error because the prophecy concerns matters when Zedekiah was “king”. Jehoiakim’s reign began and ended before Zedekiah’s. Jehoiakim also did evil in The LORD’s sight (2 Kings 23:37).
And, because of the ongoing, unrepentant sin of the nation of Judah, God sent invading armies to capture and enslave them. Jehoiakim was taken captive by King Nebuchadnezzar, who put him in chains and carted him off to Babylon (2 Kings 24:1; 2 Chronicles 36:6;).
Rather than heed God’s warning, Jehoiakim hardened his heart and tried to destroy God’s Word (see Jeremiah 25:1–4). Earlier, Jehoiakim had murdered the godly prophet Uriah (Jeremiah 26:20–23). Yet Zedekiah made a poor decision to follow this man.
But, God allowed me to see how that many no matter how evil a person maybe some will continue to follow evil even when they see with their own eyes that person his headed for nothing but pure destruction!
Zedekiah lost not only his eyesight but the eyesight of his sons (who was killed right in front of him) were also put out and he was taken into chains of captivity until he died.
My God my heart shakes, trembles and cringes when I think about what would happen to anybody who God had called to be a king, a priest, a queen to live for Him and then they made a poor choice to go back down into Egypt leaving the things of God like Zedekiah and Jehoiakim did.
They both suffered a terrible fate by choosing to forsake the ways of Jehovah! And, not only did they suffer but their families and even their city was destroyed!
People your destiny is tied to more than just you; but somebody life line is depending upon your survival in this hour and Satan knows if he can put your eyes out not only will he have destroyed you but an entire generation!
I prophesy in this season that God is going to use somebody to throw you a life line (and even this message will be a blessing to you) in this season and your spiritual eyes are going to be opened to receive it, discern it (visions, dreams, the angels of god’s army) etc.) and take it that you are going to come out of this victorious in this season!

Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
