The Enemy Desires Your Fall — But The LORD Has Overcome!
I heard The LORD say, “The enemy desires your fall but I have overcome him!”
In this moment of awakening, God’s Faithfulness is what we are relying on and finding solace for our souls. Despite all the pressures a deeper work is being done in us.
Our dependency on God’s Grace is increased and our reliance or faith in what we are doing is constantly being decreased.
God is bringing us to that place where, whatsoever we are doing, we are counting it as dung and relying on who He is to us. We are daily pushed to that place where we will be found only in Him and not in ourselves.
We are praying, fasting, and proclaiming The Word which we must do and encourage others to also do but at our best we are still nothing, our faith ought to completely and always be in God who is our portion.
“Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah,” Psalm 39:5.
Jesus encouraged this kind of heart attitude. Where we are so focused on His Grace to level that after we have done the works of God, we will render ourselves and what we do unprofitable.
“So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do,” Luke 17:10.
Why are we unprofitable?
Because the victory has never come because we pray, fast, or proclaim The Word. But it comes because Christ is in us.
This is the greatest mystery ever revealed. This is the summary of the entire gospel.
Understanding this to its fullness will ruin you of fear, doubt, anxiety and you will reign in God’s peace.
“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world,” 1 John 4:4 emphasis added.
Observe carefully the above verse. It gives you the reason for our victory. It does not say you have overcome because of anything thing you have done or will do.
But it is says you are born of God, and have overcome them! BECAUSE, greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
Christ in us is the Hope of Glory and nothing else. Look to Jesus and live. I see people celebrating their victory in Christ.
In an encounter with The LORD, I this Christian, I saw bad people around him watching to see him fall. They were ferocious, but were watching for an opportunity to attack him if he would do a mistake.
Then I saw The LORD made a way for him to escape and as he was running off, I saw high fences right before him, but as he would approach each of them a way would be made for him to step on and jump over these fences;
Coming out the Holy Ghost led me to Isaiah 29:20;
“For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off….”
And also to Isaiah 66:5;
“Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.”
Then The LORD said to me, “Say to My Body, ‘Hear the Word of The LORD, the enemy desires your fall but I have overcome him.
He is seeking an avenue to attack you — but I have made the way of escape for you.
I have appeared to your Joy and the terrible is now brought to nothing. All who watch to see your shame are now being put to shame.
Be Joyful for instead of your shame and confusion you shall rejoice in Me your portion.’ “
