The Elk Encounters (A New Day Is Dawning!)
I had an encounter in a dream from the LORD in which I was standing under a mountain cleft a while back, and as I was hidden under this cleft, an avalanche of snow came rolling over the cleft but wasn’t touching me.
As I stood there, a big Elk came tumbling over the ridge of the mountain with the avalanche.
I felt like somehow that Elk represented the American Church that was falling away.
Most times when you see an elk in a dream it means Power and might. I saw the fall of the power and might of the religious system of this world!
But tonight, I had my television on just for the light and there were these beautiful images that scroll by and once in a while I looked up at them.
In this strange encounter, I saw this elk on TV standing in the wilderness and it looked like Spring had begun in that wilderness he was standing in.
All at once as I looked at it, he (the elk) was looking up and crying out as if he was looking to the heavens and crying out with all of his being.
I began to weep over the passion in which I saw the elk crying and I heard the LORD speak His word to me.
“For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now,” (Romans 8:22 ) and it was as if I heard all creation crying out for what they were originally created for and to be released from the suffering that they were in.
I believe the grown up sons are going to break forth, as they have travailed for many years and days.
I read this for a Biblical interpretation for dreaming of an Elk.
“To dream of elk represents behavior that is strong enough to never need to do anything more interesting or risky than it currently is.
Instincts to remain safe even if it dull.
Grown up behavior that is protective and can fight back.
Not being afraid of hard work because it works.
Hard work that isn’t whining about it.
Responsible behavior that is strong enough to protect itself.
Fearlessness about being a grown up.
Grown up behavior that doesn’t have to listen to you if it doesn’t want to.
Maturity that isn’t willing to sin ever.
Grown up behavior that doesn’t care about listening to other people’s problems.” ©DremBible.com
In other words: Mature Sons and daughters!
A New Day Is Dawning!
I found the one meaning for seeing an elk was: “A new day is dawning, one that will be transformative.”
I believe the LORD is trying to speak to us about this and He is saying that, there is a new day dawning for those who are crying out to be clothed in His glory!
They have cried out for transformation, weary of fighting the things in this world that are keeping them from becoming the grown up sons and daughters of the LORD.
“I AM about to answer their cry!” This cry was at gut level to be clothed in Him and to do the works that they were created to do from the foundation of the world!
I have no other explanation for why I was touched at such a gut level when I saw that image. But I heard the cry of you all!
I heard the groaning in your innermost being to be like Jesus!
The War Cry for Love!
I then found out that this cry that an Elk does is a cry before a battle with another Elk for the love of a female and they call it “The Love Cry!”
It sounds like a guttural scream! They have found that the elk makes two sounds at the same time. One is a deep high pitched scream and the other one is that of a roar of a lion!
The LORD said, “Yes, this is the cry of creation to be loved and they are willing to fight for it, but they no longer have to fight for love, for they are mine and I love them with an everlasting love!
They shall know that I love them in this season and those who understand the length, and breadth and depth of My love, will not have to cry out anymore for they will be satisfied when they are clothed with the Glory for these days ahead.
They will come forth as my manifest sons and daughters!
They will roar like a lion over creation and many will come forth and be saved on that day!”
“For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God,” Romans 8:20-21.
