This morning I asked The LORD what scripture He wanted me to read and He said, “John 3”.

Well, He has taken me back to this chapter more in the past year than any other time. I thought to myself, “Ok LORD, John 3 again? Could there be more?”

You know what, there’s always more, I don’t think we will ever reach the broad extent of truth in our lifetime that He has for us. So, on we go…

Anyway, this is what He has shown to me in John 3:3-7:

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see The Kingdom of God.
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
Jesus answered, ‘Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again,’ ” John 3:3-7 KJV.

I have read these scriptures many times over the years, but I believe The LORD is revealing more and more about salvation, especially in light of the times we are in. So,…………….

The scriptures say You must be BORN AGAIN, or you cannot see or enter the kingdom of God, BORN OF WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT.

When we are born the first time into the world, we are born of water. This birth comes from the safety of a mothers womb, and when it is time to be born the mothers water must break first, AND there is blood and a tearing from her for you to be DELIVERED forth. Her travail ensues along with pain of delivery,it is a violent act.

And then JOY! What has occurred in a natural birth then is a DELIVERANCE….. from a safe place…. into the world…….of sin.

A second birth must occur now, a rebirth spiritually.

Now we are in the world and sin is our nature because of Adam. It is who we are, sinners. To have a relationship with God we Now need to be DELIVERED from sin and like Nicodemus, delivered from RELIGION.

We are to come out from her (religion) and be separate. Initially that is what has happened on the cross for you, a DELIVERANCE.

Yes, while Jesus was in this world and when He went to the cross for you He travailed for your soul, He shed His blood for you so you could be BORN AGAIN, BORN ANEW spiritually, into the Spirit, as a NEW CREATION.

He DELIVERED you from darkness into His glorious Light, back to your origin, back to the SECRET PLACE under the shadow of His wings, the way it was originally intended to be.

I am so grateful to The LORD for showing me this in the light of the birth process, and I wanted to share this with you, it may not be new to some of you, but I saw it afresh today as a………. DELIVERANCE… an act of violence to save you.

Because of the power of the cross, and the strength of the blood shed, His DELIVERANCE power is available TO YOU RIGHT NOW, no matter your situation, your background, your sin.

He wants to deliver you and give you new life today. Call upon Him, while He is near!
