The Death is Potting Soil for Resurrection Life
I heard, “The death is a potting soil for Resurrection Life!”
Yes, Gleanings from The Book of Galatians.
We saw in our last discussion that the power to work miracles comes not by man’s righteousness. God does not move on our behalf because we are holy, but because, when we believe in Jesus, His Righteousness becomes our righteousness — which is the reason God works miracles in and through us.
Then the apostle Paul opens up something striking in the next verse;
“And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed,” Galatians 3:8.
Observe the first words, “And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith”
The scripture foresaw? Does the scripture has eyes?
The entire Word of God is Christ. The Word is living and powerful. The Word, right from Genesis saw that we would be justified before God by faith and not by our works.
Hence we hear;
“preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed….”
Preached the gospel unto Abraham?
A lot of people think The Gospel of Grace is a ‘new school’ gospel, something that has come into being nowadays.
Remember we have established earlier in chapter one, that there are no gospels in scripture. There is only one Gospel which is The Gospel of The Grace of Christ and it is not a new gospel.
This is The Gospel that saved Abraham and his descendants and it is The Gospel that has the power to save all sinners.
God himself preached The Gospel of grace to Abraham. This is no new gospel. Abraham heard The Grace of Christ and believed.
God preached to him saying, “In thee shall all nations be blessed….”
In thee? Yes, in Christ, shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, not just the natural is Israel, but the entire world would be blessed in Christ the seed of Abraham.
Observe carefully the language. It does not say ‘all nations will be blessed’ in themselves, but “in thee” the blessing is not ourselves.
It is not from us, it does not come by us, but the blessing is in Christ. Christ is the blessing, when we are in him we are I the blessing.
Then He goes on to say;
“So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham,” Galatians 3:9.
You desire the blessing? It comes by Faith in what Christ has done and nothing else.
This is The Gospel that was preached to Abraham, therefore, we are blessed with faithful Abraham when we look to Jesus by faith as our righteousness.
But when we desire to go the way of works we are told;
“For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them,” Galatians 3:10.
When we are not satisfied with the fact that The Blood of Jesus has washed us and has made us whole. That we are today righteous by the blood of Jesus even forever.
When we say no to this and run back to observe a little portion of the 613 Laws to appease our ego, that we are somewhat good, that we can deserve something by our good works we fall into the curse.
Why? Because God has already found fault with us by the standard of The Law; The Law has already judged us guilty;
“For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith The LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,” Hebrews 8:8.
Observe the first statement, “For finding Fault with them…”
God has already found fault with us. This is why Jesus established The New Covenant to help guilty sinners.
If God has said, “I have already found fault with you…., which is the reason for Me bringing in The New by My Son,” then why fight against God judgment?
The scriptures cannot be broken. We are are forever guilty before God, only by Christ, are we spotless before God.
Going back to be justified by works is calling God’s judgment a lie, which is the reason for empowering the curse upon any who does that.
You are making the death, burial, resurrection of Jesus a vain thing. Dishonouring God and trying to establish your own righteousness. This is why God says, you must continue in “all things” written in The Law.
In other words, you must be perfect in yourself
But we we hear;
“But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, the just shall live by faith,” Galatians 3:11.
Observe the last statement carefully, “‘The Just’ live by Faith and not by their Works…”.
When the just go back to live by works, they are counting themselves unjust before principalities and powers. The devil knows this. When you count yourself unworthy by going back to works the enemy actually has you were he wants you to be.
You have deprived yourself of the full blessings of redemption.
We are to live by faith but the law is not of faith.
“And the law is not of faith: but, the man that doeth them shall live in them,” Galatians 3:12.
When we look to our works we are far from faith, when we look to Jesus we are in the faith of God.
What was preached to Abraham was not that all nations shall be blessed in the law but the all nations of the earth shall be blessed in thee, that is in Christ.
Therefore, when you live in the law, you are outside the blessing, you are living in the curse of the law. But when you live in Christ, you are in the blessing, blessed together with faithful Abraham.
See you tomorrow….
In an encounter with The LORD I saw the dying of things in the life of a child of God. She was thinking it was a curse — that it was the beginning of something evil — that something evil would resurface.
But I saw things coming back with life, a different kind of glory. She was fearful but this was actually what The LORD had desired for her.
“Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: and that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: but God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body,” 1 Corinthians 15:36-38.
Then The LORD said, “It had to die. I know how much you have sown to reap, but I had to let it die for resurrection life to surface.
Do not be afraid, the death of things in your life is not My Curse upon you, it is a potting soil for resurrection life.
I AM not doing what you think should be, but I AM doing what you will love at the end.
I AM giving every seed you have sown its unique life as I please, even a glory you will love. For I have desired wonderful things for you My Child.”
Blessings in Christ,

Yes, we are justified by faith in Jesus. But our blessings are CONDITIONED through our obedience as is written in Dt28:1-14; Yes the blood of Jesus has washed us and made us clean, But Jesus also said” See, you are well again, stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.” which means STOP KEEP BROKEN THE LAW(1Jn3:4); Yes, no one will be justified by works, But we are created TO DO GOOD WORKS(Eph2:10); Yes, the law is not of faith, But” Do we then, nullify the law BY THIS FAITH? Not at all! Rather, we UP HOLD THE LAW(Ro3:31); Yes, when live in Christ, you are in the blessing, But are you IN Christ as Jesus HIMSELF said in Jn15:10:”If you OBEY MY COMMANDS, you will remain IN my love, just as I HAVE OBEYED my Father’s commands and remain IN his love.” WHY, many Christians want “a freedom of lawlessness” when ONLY “the PERFECT law that gives freedom” ( Jas1:25). It is time to EXAMINE ourselves where our faith build upon? solid rock or sand? There will be many who “PROPHESY IN YOUR NAME, AND IN YOUR NAME DRIVE OUT DEMONS AND PERFORM MANY MIRACLES” (Mt7:22) will hear the lord say to them ” away from me, I never knew you, your LAWLESSNESS.” ( Mt7:23) For” The man who says,’I know him,’ but does not do what he COMMANDS is a liar, and the truth is not in him(1Jn2:4). May the lord have mercy …
