The Dandelions In The Grassy Knoll
A psalm to praise and sing to GOD, out loud.
The Dandelions In The Grassy Knoll
Oh what mighty works have come forth from Your Words?
So many that I could never know or name them all
But what I do see and know as I sit here in this meadow,
On this rock beside You, my LORD, my Lion of Judah
Are the brilliant flowers in distinctive yellow
Oh how they grow so bold, their manes gracing the grassy knoll!
Oh Your Creations are so wonderful LORD
So majestic, so spectacular
But the dandelion has captured my attention the most
So lovely to behold, my LORD, my Lion of Judah
That in wintertime when snow has covered the meadow
I am still thinking about the dandelions in the grassy knoll!
Oh my Lion of Judah
So beautiful and bold
How You glow with a mane like the dandelion
As we sit in the meadow
All day long I sing to You a glorifying ode
Oh my beautiful Lion of Judah…
Won’t You sit here awhile longer
Watching the dandelions bloom?
Nearby the sheep graze happily
You, my LORD, are watching over every single one
What a good Shepherd, my LORD, my Lion of Judah
How lovely are Your Sheep amid the dandelions
How lovely is Your Glory that shines upon them!
So blessed are they who have no cares in the grassy knoll!
Oh my Lion of Judah
So beautiful and bold
How You glow with a mane like the dandelion
As we sit in the meadow
All day long I sing to You a glorifying ode
Oh my beautiful Lion of Judah…
Won’t You sit here awhile longer
Watching the dandelions bloom?
Listen! Watch! Do you perceive it?
The dandelions are stirring:
Their manes changing into glorious white halos
Appearing now like a blanket of snow
As white as lambs wool
They sing a hymn to You, their King, their Lion of Judah:
“Worthy is He!
Worthy is He!
He who was the lamb
But now is the LION OF JUDAH!
All praise be to He!”
Suddenly Your Breath blows upon them
Into the air they take flight
Floating and twirling merrily in Your Light
I marvel in the beauty of the moment
Such good things are from You, indeed!
Oh my Lion of Judah
So beautiful and bold
How You glow with a mane like the dandelion
As we sit in the meadow
All day long I sing to You a glorifying ode
Oh my beautiful Lion of Judah…
Won’t You sit here awhile longer
Watching the dandelions bloom?
Oh my Lion of Judah
So beautiful and bold
Won’t You sit here awhile longer
Watching the dandelions bloom in the grassy knoll?
For on top of my head, made by Your own Hand,
You have placed a marvelous crown of dandelions!
So blessed, so blessed! So blessed!
I drink from the River of Your Delights
As I sit here with You
Watching the dandelions bloom in the grassy knoll…
“You’re blessed when you’re content with just who you are — no more, no less. That’s the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can’t be bought. You’re blessed when you’ve worked up a good appetite for God. He’s food and drink in the best meal you’ll ever eat.” Matthew 3:5-6 MSG
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.” Matthew 24:35
“They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights.” Psalm 36:8
Hallelujah!
“Praise God in his holy house of worship, praise him under the open skies; praise him for his acts of power, praise him for his magnificent greatness; praise with a blast on the trumpet, praise by strumming soft strings; praise him with castanets and dance, praise him with banjo and flute; praise him with cymbals and a big bass drum, praise him with fiddles and mandolin. Let every living, breathing creature praise God! Hallelujah!” Psalm 150:1-6
“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:10-11
“He gives snow like wool; he scatters frost like ashes. He hurls down his crystals of ice like crumbs; who can stand before his cold? He sends out his word, and melts them; he makes his wind blow and the waters flow.” Psalm 147:16-18

“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.
Wonderful!!! Precious are such times!
Thank you Priscilla. I enjoy so much every psalm the Father gives to me, but the ones where I can just be with Him like so are my favorite. God bless you!

Amen .
