The Dam is About to Break
This morning The Holy Spirit showed me a dam breaking with a raging torrent of water gushing through.
I understood what this spiritual metaphor represented. A dam is a barrier to obstruct the flow of water, and is usually built across a stream or a river. Any body of water that is confined by a dam is restricted and unable to flow.
The river of God has been obstructed, and restrained from flowing freely, but the dam has been broken, and we are beginning to see the rivers of God flowing once again.
There is a story in 2 Samuel 5, when The LORD sent King David to the cave of Adullam when he was running from Saul.
There were four hundred men in this cave who were in distress, in debt and discontented. David taught them how to be invincible warriors, raised them up and trained them as a mighty army.
In 1 Samuel 30, when David and his men returned home from war, they reached Ziklag, and found it destroyed by fire.
Their wives, sons and daughters were taken captive by the Amalekites. David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep. They reached the breaking point and the people turned against David wanting to stone him.
But then something rose up in David. He strengthened himself in The LORD, and he asked The LORD; “Shall I pursue this troop? Will I overtake them?” The LORD responded: “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”
So David went to Baal Perazim, which means “LORD of the breaks” and defeated his enemies.
He then said: “The LORD has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.”
Therefore he called the name of that place Baal Perazim. 1 Chronicles 14:11 says:
“God has “broken in” through (pāraṣ: to break through or down or over, burst, breach) my enemies by my hand like the “breaking forth” (pereṣ: breach, gap, bursting forth) of water.” Therefore they called the name of that place Baal Perazim (God of the Breakthrough)”
The LORD is sending a breakthrough to the believers who persevered through tests and trials, and stood their ground through it all.
Rivers of living waters are about to flow in your lives and ministries once again. The Holy Spirit is beginning to move in the dry places.
It’s the driest wood that ignites first. Jesus is about to open rivers in desolate heights, and fountains in the midst of valleys. He will turn the desert into pools of water and the dry land into streams
There is a breakthrough coming to the Five-fold Ministers. The LORD says; “I AM sending a fire to ministers who have laid down their lives and surrendered all for The Kingdom.
Through difficult times, they continued to count the cost and paid the price. They are those who will be set ablaze to go forth to fan the flames and stoke the fire in others.
They won’t allow anything to annihilate their zeal because they are strong in Me and will do exploits.
The walls are breaking down, and the rivers are being released into the churches. There is a move of The Holy Spirit that won’t be quenched in the days ahead.
They will no longer be stagnant and dry, but will experience a flow that they’ve never known before. Angelic activity is being released from the third heaven that no man or demon can quench.
Do not fear the days ahead — but know that I AM releasing My Glory in a magnitude which no human or devil could stop,” says The LORD of the breakthrough.
“So David went to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there; and he said, “The LORD has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” Therefore he called the name of that place Baal Perazim.” 2 Samuel 5:20
“So they went up to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there. Then David said, “God has broken through my enemies by my hand like a breakthrough of water.” Therefore they called the name of that place Baal Perazim.” 1 Chronicles 14:11
“But he also can turn a barren wilderness into an oasis with water! He can make springs flow into desert lands and turn them into fertile valleys so that cities spring up, and he gives it all to those who are hungry.” Psalm 107:35 (TPT)

This such powerful word that help to steer up our faith.May the LORD remove any thing that is hindering the flow of his Holy Spirit in my life, and make me an oasis where his life flow in hindered to reach the list.
Zechariah 4:6
[6]Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
2 Corinthians 3:5
[5]Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
1 Corinthians 12:6
[6]And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
This word is so exactly right on. I feel it and it greatly witnesses to me.
Amen. A word in season for certain. It seems that moment by moment, we are counting the cost and choosing to pay the price until like our Savior, it costs us everything. It is laying it all down for a final reward. Blessings, Sandi Holman
