The Creative Power of Thoughts and Words
One of the reasons we continue steadfast in Prayer, is because someone’s negative thoughts and imaginations about you have the potential of creating negative energy to act or work against you.
This is not about you “giving power” to anyone, but The Bible says in Genesis 6,
“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Genesis 6:5.
We fail to understand that witchcraft is not limited to brews, mixes and potions but even thought patterns.
Proverbs 23 NKJV) says,
“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…..” Proverbs 23:7a.
This verse emphasizes the significance of our thoughts in shaping our character and actions.
It suggests that our inner thoughts influence our outward behavior and ultimately determine the course of our lives.
Additionally, The Bible also states in Proverbs 18,
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV).
This verse highlights the profound impact of our words on ourselves and others.
Our words have the ability to bring either life or death, blessing or cursing, depending on how we use them.
I believe that the Holy Spirit brought this to my attention the creative power of thoughts and words … highlighting the reason why we must Pray!
In Genesis 1 it states,
“Then God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light.” Genesis 1:3 (NKJV).
This verse illustrates the power of God’s spoken word to bring about the creation of light out of darkness!
God brought forth light, separated the waters, formed the land, and filled the earth with living creatures.
Each aspect of creation came into being as a result of God’s spoken command.
We can see clearly here that thoughts and words are intimately connected for the thought precedes the spoken Word.
2 Corinthians 10 states,
“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:5.
We are called as Believers in Christ to actively resist, forcefully and oppose and reject every thought, false belief, philosophy of man that is contrary to The Will of God for our lives.
There are people who think thoughts of death, demotion, anti progress, sickness, dis-ease, dis-order, dis-content, despair, failure, poverty, frustration, dis-favor over the lives of others and project that energy toward them to cause the manifestation of same through telepathy, telekinetic and psychic witchcraft.
They plot and devise wickedness and mischief in their imaginations against others and hence we have to continually be praying against that these fail and be overturned, in Jesus’ Name.
Shalom
