The Consequences of Sin
Sin is a most horrible condition.
Sin will take you further then you intended to go, cost you more then you intended to spend, and leave you in a grave with no future life.
Sin is the real reason that the human race are sinners. Sinners lost in sin.
It was because Adam and Eve did sin in The Garden. They broke the commandment of The LORD, when they ate of the forbidden fruit. It was direct disobedience to The Law of God.
Sin is horrible like leprosy. The disease eats away at the skin and body parts until they are either rotted and gone or deformed.
Sin is horrible like cancer. The disease spreads from one affected part until it takes over the entire body. The corruption of cancer eats away at the flesh until it is gone.
Sin is like that… It eats away from the body of flesh until the flesh body dies. After some time of overindulgence in sin, the body will just simply not be able to function.
Like one on alcohol addiction kills the function of the liver. The liver will not work because of the infection.
Sin is caused by indifference to reality.
I hear the word rebellion from all the goodness of God. God did not create men to be sinners, but God created men good.
He placed them into a beautiful garden and gave them everything they needed, but they moved in rebellion away from God’s command.
The sin cause immediately separation from God Who is Holy and cannot abide with sin. They were put out of The Garden of blessings in life and lost their lives.
Form the day they left The Garden they never have had the good things again that they enjoyed in that Garden. As time wen on by they died or ceased to live in the flesh, for the flesh did find it could not go on.
In reality sin cause Adam and Eve to loose their spiritual connection with God. Sin did separate them for walking and talking with God in The Spirit. Their spirit was rendered dead, or out of contact with the God, Who is a Spirit.
Men today are still as lost as Adam and Eve when they left The Garden. The sins of Adam have eaten away at their very souls, and body until they are dead to spiritual life.
Even as Adam did die physically as a result of sin, so men today are dying all around us. Their bodies are wasting away.
But God
But God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever will believe upon Him, shall not die but have everlasting life….
No sinner can change his condition by trying… working … etc. For the condition of sin is too great for any man to fix.
All men are like sheep who gone their own way and are now lost and dying, never to find their way home.
But God did send a savior to seek the lost sheep and bring them home. Jesus Christ is The Savior, and He is even today seeking to find His Lost Sheep.
He wants to bring them home. He is really the only way to be safe and home. Jesus is The Door to Life, and as the scriptures tell us, He is The Door, because He Himself is Life.
But, men in their lost sinful condition cannot see nor understand that Jesus Christ is the way. They stumble in the night and lost in terrible cancer of sin.
Suffering with others who suffer. Lost and on a pathway to eternal separation form God.
But men can come to the light and be saved from dying of the dreaded disease of sin. Men can come to Jesus Christ and find a new life.
A life without sin [life power of The Holy Spirit to overcome all sin], and a life with a eternal savior who will rescue them and give them a future forever.
“…… This day is salvation come to this house, ……. for the son of man [Jesus Christ] is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:9-10.
“Jesus answered and said unto him, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
Jesus answered, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the spirit.” John 3:3-8.
