The Clock Is Ticking and the Plumb Line Is Out!
Time! What is time? Time is the indefinite (lasting/ unknown) continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole, (Google).
Time as in a life time; the timing of God as in His return or His timing in moving and getting things done!
God’s timetable: Running out of time, urgency, latter time, the End Times, what’s to come in the future, what happened in the past, what he will do now, for many days hence, measurements: seasons, heights, widths, and inches, numbers, minutes and or seconds are all apart of HIS time!
Unfortunately, man has learned to take advantage of this very small word, “time!”
For, Solomon in his old age came to recognized what and how important time really was: He said,
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace,” Ecclesiastic 1:1-8.
I believe that God is saying to his people in this season that “time” is of the essence and like the turning of the hour glass if we are not careful we shall all run out of this precious little word called time!
Solomon knew that in his old age that it was important to begin to put things that were important to him in perspective. This is why he wrote the book of Ecclesiastic.
And, then he went on to say,
“Honor and enjoy your Creator while you’re still young, before the years take their toll and your vigor wanes, before your vision dims and the world blurs and the winter years keep you close to the fire. In old age, your body no longer serves you so well. Muscles slacken, grip weakens, joints stiffen. The shades are pulled down on the world. You can’t come and go at will. Things grind to a halt. The hum of the household fades away. You are wakened now by bird-song. Hikes to the mountains are a thing of the past. Even a stroll down the road has its terrors. Your hair turns apple-blossom white, adorning a fragile and impotent matchstick body. Yes, you’re well on your way to eternal rest, while your friends make plans for your funeral. But, live life, lovely while it lasts, is soon over. Life as we know it, precious and beautiful, ends. The body is put back in the same ground it came from. The spirit returns to God, who first breathed it,” Ecclesiastes 12:1-7 MSG.
How much time are you using wisely or foolishly on things that will bring God no glory?
Jesus himself went on to tell the disciples, “I must work the works of him that sent Me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I an the light of the world,” John 9: 4-5.
Such words of wisdom from such great men of God for us all to follow! For wasted time can never be restored!
Time, you see, can never be redone or reborn, but the decisions we make will write our own individual stories regarding the time God has given each of us here on this earth.
Daniel was a man of great wisdom and knowledge. Daniel’s first sign of faithfulness to God was when he and his countrymen rejected the rich food and wine from the king’s table, because they deemed it a defilement, and became vegetarians.
He was also a man who was given by God the ability to understand dreams and visions of all kinds, (Daniel 1:17).
Daniel unlike other prophets understood the times and the seasons that he and others were to walk in and when he did not he consulted God for help through not only his prayers but fasting!
It was times God would give him understanding of the times and other times God wouldn’t!
In fact, God would tell him to seal up the vision and to keep it to himself!
I believe that God is going to begin to reveal and to entrust his people with somethings that we will not be able to share with others until he gives the appropriate time to do so! Just as He said to Daniel!
He said,
“Go on about your business, Daniel,’ he said. ‘The message is confidential and under lock and key until the end, until things are about to be wrapped up. The populace will be washed clean and made like new. But the wicked will just keep on being wicked, without a clue about what is happening. Those who live wisely and well will understand what’s going on,'” Daniel 12:9-10 MSG.
In other words many who are not in the perfect will of God will miss many Kingdom nuggets and treasures that God wishes to share with them all because they are not apart of the third dimensions of God’s Kingdom.
Because in this realm, God has angelic angels and other things he wants to reveal to those who are faithful and that He can entrust them to, until it is the appropriate time to reveal them!
The LORD begin to reveal to Daniel that Michael, the great angel-prince, champion of your people, will step in. It will be a time of trouble, the worst trouble the world has ever seen.
But your people will be saved from the trouble, every last one found written in the Book.
Many who have been long dead and buried will wake up, some to eternal life, others to eternal shame.
“‘Men and women who have lived wisely for and well will shine brilliantly, like the cloudless, star-strewn night skies. And those who put others on the right path to life will glow like stars forever,” Daniel 12:1-3 MSG.
Get ready people of God, for it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him, (1 Corinthians 2:9).
~ Apostle Geraldine Fisher
Apostle Geraldine Fisher has a World-Wide-Social Media Net-Work Ministry. As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
Thank you for the word of wisdom. Amen
