The Burden You Feel
Sometimes the burden you feel is not your own!
Pray one for another (James 5:16).
“Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. “ James 5:16.
Too often we become so caught up in building a name of ourselves in the spotlight of social media that we forget the secret place of prayer and ministry of Jesus Christ to lift and build up the walls of the the hurting among us, the downcast, the trodden upon, the sick and infirm, those who are hungry and homeless the outcasts, those who have been ostracized, those who are incarcerated even spiritually bound, those appointed to death.
Those who are victims of injustice, wrongfully accused, the young and vulnerable children who seem to have become like an endangered species.
We forget those who have been victimized, depressed, disheartened and despondent.
Those who have fallen prey to seducing spirits and have been deceived from the TRUTH and gone astray; caught in the web of the cockatrice, dead and decaying in sin…
There are many wearing the facade of happiness meanwhile behind closed doors tears is their meat day and night.
Those in abusive relationships, manipulated, battling childhood trauma, rejection, shame and reproach, heavy with the garment of mourning.
“The Spirit of The LORD God is upon me; because The LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of The LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of The LORD, that he might be glorified. And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.” Isaiah 61:1-4 KJV.
