The Book Review
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:16-17.
I heard The LORD say, “Embellish!”
To make (something) more attractive by the addition of decorative details or features:
To make (a statement or story) more interesting or entertaining by adding extra details, especially ones that are not true:
“If I dress up My Word and make it fancy then many draw near.
The Truth and nothing but The Truth do I give unto My People.
Do not see My Word as a “Book Review!” If you like, what I say — I receive thumbs up, if not, I get thumbs down.
Know too that I AM grading your hearing and understanding of My Word in its delivered forms,” (written, spoken, spontaneous action – miracles).
“If any of you lack Wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” James 1:5.
“My Word stands. People will always read My Book (The Bible).
My Book shall always be a best seller.
Children come out of darkness.
I AM nowhere in darkness. My Light shines so bright it blinds birds. Children, birds fly in flocks to keep from scattering or stumbling.
Children, you do not see birds when they come to a standstill in the air. The presence of My Light is so bright.
Birds have to pause when they encounter the “Light of My Countenance.” When birds leave My Presence — they are awe struck!
I did not create birds that fly high in the sky to talk like humans. As you hear birds singing outside your window, know they have been in the presence of The LORD.
Sing like the birds, Children, for the Glory of The LORD is risen upon thee!”
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of The LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but The LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1-2.
“I do not need subscribers or fans. Release the bondage of your mind when I speak a word and remember: If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” John 8:36.
“Children, “I WILL NOT EMBELLISH MY WORDS” — for your likes or dislikes.
Hear the Word — adjust your minds and hearts to truth.”
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:1-5.
“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed,” John 8:31.
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32.
“I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.” Psalm 119:32.
“Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.” Psalm 119:133.
“The Spirit of The LORD GOD is upon me; because The LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of The LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of The LORD, that he might be glorified.” Isaiah 61:1-3.
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2.
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” Galatians 5:1.
The LORD speaks to show His love and to protect us from evil. He gives us His best and the best thing besides Jesus is A Big Old Truth.
“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:10.
Can our actions actually cause a person to turn over in a grave?
Many well-meaning thoughts extend beyond context.
A person turning over in a grave would mean they are earth bound — not in Heaven or Hell.
Humans openly show disapproval of God’s actions, ways, and permissive will.
Is it fair to scold The LORD when His Actions do not meet man’s approval or expectation?
Man forgets he is created for God’s glory and not his own. John 3:16-17, were the first Bible scriptures I learned — well besides “Jesus wept,” (John 11:35).
At the time, I saw these scriptures as a justification for Baptism. Now I see John’s Word from Jesus — as a way of life. I choose the way of love.
It should be easy to love someone who loves first.
God the Father and Son Jesus, do not just love us they give the formula for success and eternal life.
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33.
“Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 1 John 4:2-4.
In order to walk in the mantle of love, we must first believe that God is “All” that He has spoken of Himself. Once this truth is absorbed- we become the sponge to soak up love and squeeze it on others.
As sponges, Christians function in the mentality of 1 Corinthians 13. We come out of adversity through love.
“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” 1 Corinthians 13:1-13.
When we read Psalm 23, it gives us the assurance that The LORD’s Love is always present and guides us through mountains and valleys.
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4.
The LORD is telling us to put on a love hat and do not take it off for washing or brain breathers.
Father I repent for these things:
- Rejecting Your every time it is offered
- Rejecting truth
- Trying to keep Your love for myself
- Not being the example of love to others
- Looking at a person’s story and deciding they do not deserve love
- Believing media reports and allowing my heart to harden toward others
- Feeling like I have legal rights for unforgiveness
- Refusing to obey the Word when I hear it
- Not believing promises in the Word
LORD, forgive us for trying to change Your word.
Truly, You are the only one with “Real freedom of speech”.
Forgive us LORD for being the naysayers. Forgive our ungrateful tongues and hearts. Pardon our sins oh LORD.
Forgive us LORD for attempting to correct what You have spoken and speak.
While men react negatively to truth — be mindful of the recording. Everything we say goes to a “Profit and Loss Statement”.
“He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.” Revelation 3:5.
“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:12-15.
In summary, think carefully before responding to the Word of The LORD as it comes in different forms.
When God’s word is judgment, warning, correction, chastisement, or words from His heart — these words are still encouraging.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,” 2 Timothy 3:16.
The LORD’s Words are not a Book Review event — but the Pathway to Righteousness.
“I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.” John 12:46-48.
“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.“ Matthew 16:24.
“Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.” Romans 14:19.
Peace Out,

Mary Adger is in ministry for The LORD and runs her own website “In it for Him”, for when God says “BE STILL” He is just trying to get us to that perfect place in His will.
Thanks for this Word, Mary. Praise GOD! LORD have mercy on us. AMEN.
Sherry, Jesus had mercy with a thief on the cross dying with Him.
He showed compassion, love, and forgot about His suffering to save someone else.
Yes, Lord have mercy on us.
AMEN AND AMEN
Wong, Jesus is such a sweet Father even in chastisement.
I would rather go through His hands, than be sifted as wheat by satan.
