Some years ago when I had “The Precious Stone Broadcast” on the local TV Station in Santa Fe, NM I was praying over the up and coming Recording Session to make the next month programs when the Lord did speak to me. This is what He said:

“Take and make copies (print outs) of existing STATEMENTS OF FAITH of several different denominations or ministries and take them to the TV Station. In your next program I want you to put the statements in your LEFT HAND than hold my Word, the Bible, in your RIGHT HAND. HOLD THEM UP ABOVE YOUR HEAD AND… Tell the people, I HOLD IN MY LEFT HAND THE STATEMENTS OF FAITH I HAVE TAKEN FROM SEVERAL WELL KNOWN DENOMINATIONS AND MINISTRIES. This is WHAT I THINK OF THEM…… Throw them on the Floor and STOMP ON THEM WITH YOUR FEET. (tell the camera man to make sure he records the stomping with your feet on them). Than HOLD UP MY WORD and say, THIS IS THE WORD OF GOD… THIS IS YOUR STATEMENT OF FAITH“

Well this is exactly what I did. You must know it was QUITE A STATEMENT to all who did watch that program.

The Lord did go on and explain to me WHY he wanted me to make this special statement on TV. He said, I want you to tell them IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT YOUR STATEMENT SAYS BUT WHAT MATTERS IS THAT IT WAS A STATEMENT ABOUT…. THE THINGS MEN BELIEVE FROM THE BIBLE, MY WORD. If you say you believe ONLY PART OF THE BIBLE that is NOT ENOUGH because ALL OF MY WORD (THE ENTIRE BIBLE) IS MY STATEMENT. I want you to BELIEVE it ALL; not just A PART OF IT.

Many people have set out to make it clear they believe the Bible is the sole rule of Authority to follow. They make a big deal about HOW MUCH THEY BELIEVE THE BIBLE, then they turn around and BELIEVE ONLY WHAT THEY WANT TO BELIEVE ABOUT IT. For years I have been a pastor and minister of the Gospel and have been in many churches which had a SET STATEMENT OF FAITH. It would be pointed out to me that THIS IS WHAT WE BELIEVE. Well I happen to KNOW FOR SURE that many of those churches LEFT OUT MUCH OF THE SCRIPTURES in their teachings in the church. Many did teach OR NOT TEACH… MUCH THAT THAT IS WRITTEN THERE. The point being made here is WHY NOT? If they SAY OR CLAIM to believe that the Bible is the Word of God, than WHY DO THEY NOT FOLLOW ALL OF IT? Why have they left off things they do not want to believe or DO NOT UNDERSTAND?

So I prepared this word today just to let you know WHAT GOD THINKS ABOUT STATEMENTS OF FAITH. If you claim to believe the Bible…. AT LEAST BE HONEST ENOUGH TO DO SO. If you are going to only believe the parts you like and leave off others… BE HONEST AND QUIT LYING ABOUT BELIEVING THE BIBLE. Just be honest and say, I BELIEVE THE BIBLE BUT NOT ALL OF IT IS THE WORD OF GOD. Be HONEST NOW. Be truthful and quit lying about believing the Bible IS the WORD OF GOD… ALL OF IT.

I have heard some say, I BELIEVE THE BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD…. EVEN THE HOLY BIBLE WRITTEN ON THE COVER. Than those same people go on to say, BUT WE DO NOT BELIEVE IN TALKING IN TONGUES. OR HELL, OR MANY OTHER THINGS.

For 23 years I was CONFINED IN A BAPTIST STATEMENT OF FAITH. In that statement they said that the Baptism with the Holy Spirit was not for today and that the office of Apostles or Prophets had ceased along with the Gifts of the Spirit. Than during Easter week 1999 I had a God Encounter in the desert. During that time HE DID BAPTIZE ME WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND NOW I DO TALK IN TONGUES. Not only Tongues, but move in other Gifts that I was told did no longer exist. I did ask God what he wanted me to be in Ministry (after my God Encounter) and he said I HAVE CALLED YOU A PROPHET. Well frankly I did not fully know what that meant because all my life I had been told that Prophets do not exist today in the Church. I had to go study my Bible to find out what a Prophet is in the Scripture.

I know that there are many who are IGNORANT OF MUCH OF THE SCRIPTURE and their understanding of the Scripture (even as mine was) was narrow and guided by MAN’S STATEMENTS OF FAITH and that the Scripture itself is INTERPRETED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT REVELATION. For those who do not understand it, Would it not be better for you to NOT WRITE DOWN YOUR STATEMENT OF FAITH because you could be WRONG.

Better just say, THE BIBLE IS MY STATEMENT OF FAITH. It would be easier to justify the change when HE SHOWS YOU THE TRUTH BY REVELATION KNOWLEDGE.

***LET ME GIVE YOU AN EXAMPLE OF MISUSE OF THE BIBLE and how a statement of Faith could be evil:

Where in the Word of God does it speak about DENOMINATIONS? If you go search out the Scripture, I do not believe you can find that teaching. Matter of fact, you will find the Scripture teaches you that…. THERE IS ONE FAITH, ONE CHURCH. It is clear the God Himself did NEVER TEACH that there was MORE THAN ONE GROUP. It is clear that there was ONE BODY OF CHRIST. ONE CHURCH. Well why than do we have MANY TODAY?

This is exactly why…. I AM NON-DENOMINATIONAL. I am no longer a Southern Baptist or any other kind of Baptist. I am not Pentecostal, I am not Assembly of God. I am not Methodist, or Catholic. This is exactly why I HAVE BECOME NON…

BECAUSE I BELIEVE THE BIBLE.

If you who are DENOMINATIONAL and take offense, than I say to you LINE UP WITH THE BOOK YOU SAY YOU BELIEVE and quit saying you believe all of it. YOU MUST BE HONEST. YOU NEED TO BE OF … ONE BODY. AND QUIT FOLLOWING MEN.
