The Bells are Ringing on PRIDE!
The bells are ringing!
This morning in prayer I heard God say to talk about “PRIDE!”
God is coming like a cyclone tornado to tear down the walls of pride!
I heard God say that the rains have come, the lightening has flashed, and some of you have still not taken noticed of the writing that is upon the wall in this season! Just as Nebuchadnezzar who was Belshazzar’s grandfather did not.
Nebuchadnezzar became a great king and God had to humble him because of his pride and his arrogance in the kingdom. But you see, the apple does not fall too far from the tree, because many of you have come from generations (curse) of pride and arrogance and it will be hard for you to come on down and to admit that you are nothing. So God will have to send the breaking of the bones for many in this season; especially those of you who believe that you are in control of your own destiny and your own fate in this season!
Oh, but I heard God say that it is best for one to humble ones self, instead of God having to do it, because you will not be happy with the outcome, saith The Lord! You see, some of you have the attitude of pride: you don’t worship the one, true God, you are very prideful and arrogant, and you take great pride in the fact that you have built walls around your own kingdom, and that you have had enemies in the past who could not invade and attack this wall which you have built!
You are proud of the fact that it has taken you years to build this wall and you have never acknowledge the fact that it is not you, but the God in heaven, who blesses and He is the one who gives us power to get wealth, and not you yourself!
Oh, your walls are high just as Belshazzar was high! You like Belshazzar have acquired many chariots (accomplishments) that could be ridden around on the top of these walls. Belshazzar thought his plan to protect his kingdom from being invaded was perfect. No one could ever defeat him and take away his kingdom. Like many pastors and leaders today think in the church! He knew that there were enemies outside trying to invade and attack him but he was very confident they would never get to him or his kingdom. Just like many of you think who have built your own kingdoms here on earth! We walk around with our chest stuck out and our necks in the air like we are god’s gift to society and that God can’t bless anybody else, but you! But God has sent me to warn you that He is getting ready to send a cyclone tornado in many of your lives!
A tornado is a violently rotating column of air descending from a thunderstorm and in contact with the ground. Although tornadoes are usually brief, lasting only a few minutes, they can sometimes last for more than an hour and travel several miles causing considerable damage. It will destroy anything and everything that is within its way! Most tornadoes have wind speeds less than 110 miles per hour, are about 250 feet across, and travel a few miles before dissipating. The “most extreme” tornadoes can attain wind speeds of more than 300 miles per hour. These tornadoes have a violent outburst, as of emotion or activity.
Just as Jesus did who went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables (cyclone tornado) of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold doves, and said unto them, “It is written, my house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves” Matthew 21:12-13.
It is true that a tornado is a land event, while cyclones are created and fester over the oceans. A tornado, even the largest ones, is relatively small when compared to the cyclone. You might have a tornado that stretches for several miles, but a cyclone can stretch for several hundred miles. The atmosphere just above a land mass will encourage the development of a tornado, while that same factor will sap the life from a cyclone, and, in many cases, eventually help to destroy it. The time frame from the birth of a tornado until it dies out is generally measured in minutes. The time frame from the birth to the death of a cyclone is measured in hours and days. You see god is like the cyclone tornado because he doesn’t just want to tear and to root up the things in your life, but he wants to leave a lasting effect upon you (all that would do harm) that will leave many wondering for days and hours about the pride that they have allowed to tear down the things and the people of God; so that they will know to touch not my anointed and to do my prophet no harm in this hour and this season, saith The Lord! (Psalm 105:15).
However, the tornado delivers devastation to buildings, infrastructure, and people, in a very centralized location in relation to its development. A cyclone can cause widespread damage to any number of regions within its path. The type of damage is also different. The tornado provides fierce, intense damage, while the damage of a cyclone is caused by continuous battering, and drawn out exposure. This cyclone is going to destroy everything that is not rooted and planted by God!
Your foundation will need to be secure! Not like king Belshazzar who decided to throw a great feast or banquet to show how confident and relaxed he was that he was safe from his enemies. He invited 1,000 of his most important leaders. He had lots of food and wine for all his party guests! (narcissism, disorder in the church) the more he and his guests drank the wine the more they became under the power of the alcohol.
Like some of you who have allowed you’re pride (out of your mind) to overtake you by taking things that are holy and sacred in the church and using them for your own gain! Putting your hands on things that belong to God, you’re mouth, tearing down all that is holy and sacred to God! When you speak against things that you know not of or about you place your self; you’re life at risk!
My God! My God! Yes, some of you are like Belshazzar and you have become drunk with alcohol that has caused you to not be able to be in complete control of your thinking and actions. Belshazzar and his guests were celebrating and drinking and were becoming drunk with wine Belshazzar was already proud and boastful before he was drinking. As he became drunk with wine it made him even more arrogant. He came up with what he thought would be a brilliant idea that would show the greatness and power of His Kingdom.
I heard God say this morning, if you think that you are going to mistreat His holy (anointed) people, you had better think again! If you think you are going to touch that which is holy, and consecrated to God and do what you want, you had better think again!
I hear God saying to “touch not his anointed and to do his prophet no harm!” Listen, God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man’s wife! (Genesis 20:3) All that belongs to the people of God also belongs to God!
Many of you have the spirit of Belshazzar and his grandfather Nebuchadnezzar, because you feel you can captured the Jewish people (Christians) and treat them in any old kind of a way!
Nebuchadnezzar’s soldiers had taken many of the very special articles that were in the temple where the Jews worshiped their God. Belshazzar thought that on that special night when he believed he was safe from his enemies to have some of the special cups that had been taken from God’s temple brought to his party, so they could fill them with wine and praise their gods. God is holy. That means He is completely perfect.
When the Jewish people built the temple, God gave instructions how to build the temple. He also gave instructions for all the items that were to be placed in the temple. All the things that were made were to be treated special because they were made to worship a Holy God. God does not allow “anyone to treat the things he has made only to worship him in a disrespectful way.” He punishes anyone, even his own people, if they try to go into the temple and disobey His instructions of how to worship Him properly. Watch out, now you pastors and leaders who are taking the tithes and offerings and using them for your own purpose instead of what they were meant to be used for!
As Belshazzar and all his guests were laughing and having a great time, a human hand (cyclone tornado) appeared in the banquet hall. On the wall a hand began to write a message near a lamp stand. Belshazzar saw (his eyes came open) the hand writing a message on his wall. Belshazzar’s rosy pink cheeks drained of all color and his face was as white as snow. His body began to tremble and he was so afraid that his knees began to knock together. He said in a loud voice, “Quick bring someone to me that can tell me what the writing on the wall means! Whoever tells me what this writing says, will receive a purple robe, a gold necklace and will be the third most important person in my kingdom!”
All of the king’s wise men were brought in. They looked at the writing on the wall. As they looked and looked at the writing they were puzzled. They said the king, “We are sorry you’re majesty, but we have no idea what this says.” This frightened Belshazzar even more. He and all his party guests were very confused. This was not an ordinary occurrence for anyone so they knew that this message written with a human hand was important. King Nebuchadnezzar’s wife was still living at this time and she had heard the chaos and confusion taking place and came to talk to Belshazzar, her grandson. She told him about a man named Daniel.
“Belshazzar, this man has an excellent reputation, he has the spirit of the gods in him, and he is able to tell people what their dreams mean. You should call for him immediately so he can tell you what this writing means.” Belshazzar sent for Daniel. As Daniel stands before him he tells him of the awards he will receive if he can tell him what the writing means. Daniel didn’t need awards from a wicked king, to be obedient to God. He told the king he could keep his awards and he would tell him the message on the wall.
I hear God saying that many of you know you come from a generational curse of pride, and yet you refuse to lay that thing at the feet of the cross, because you like being empowered by control, manipulating, and deceiving others! My God!
Daniel said, “You have known all these things and yet you are full of pride. You have not humbled yourself and worshiped and praised the most high God. You have bragged about your power and not thanked God for giving it to you. If that wasn’t enough you used his special cups (the things/ people of God) to worship and praise the gods of silver, gold, bronze, iron, wood and stone.
You cannot even see these gods because they aren’t gods at all. They cannot hear you or understand you. You have not worshiped the God who gave you your very life and all that you have. The most high God has sent you this message: “mene, mene, tekel, peres.”
Here are the meanings of these words:
Mene: God has numbered the days of your kingdom and has put an end to it.
Tekel: God has seen all that you have done and you are not righteous.
Peres: God has divided your kingdom and the Medes and Persians will take over your kingdom.”
I heard God say the sword of The Lord is about to destroy many in this season! It is above your head open up your eyes, before it is too late!
Humble yourself before God has to do it!
