The Bells are Ringing Loudly – Stay on the Ship!
Stay on the ship no matter how hard the journey gets!
This morning God spoke to me that there would be more sickness, death, heartache and disappointment in this season, but stay on the ship!
I heard God saying to stay on the ship no matter how hard it gets! Many times we are like Apostle Paul and we perceive that the winds are blowing and storms are brewing up a head of us and there maybe much damage from the storm and our lives may even be at risk, but i heard God saying to stay in the ship no matter what; until we make it to dry land! (Acts 27:9-10).
You see, I hear God saying that no matter how He sends an anointed man or woman of God to tell you to go in a specific direction, some of you will always be more impressed with the flesh than you are with the one walking in the anointing of God, because the devil will show you a picture that is not accurate and your flesh will trust that picture; rather than the vision that God has for you!
Just as it did with the Centurion who believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul. Why? Because, many of you want to trust in your own natural abilities like the ship-master, and you feel like you have more education, more experienced, and that you are more skilled in this particular area of your life because you have been walking with god for a long time and you don’t want nobody telling you what to do!
If God wanted me to know something, He would have told me himself; instead of telling them, but many times God knows that your vision is limited so he sends someone else with more vision than you do and that is where the prophets and apostles come in to guide and to govern you! (Acts 27:10-12) Oh, I hear God saying, humble yourself or you will be overcome by the winds, the rains, and the storm in this season!
I hear God saying that these trials and test that many of you are about to go through will be challenging in this season! The winds will began to blow very hard. These winds will blew the waves so high that they will looked like mountains all around your ship. These winds will be so hard that it will look as though God is not with you, and you will have no guidance, just as it was for the captain of Paul’s ship who could not turn the ship back.
You may even have to push back your plate, just as Paul did in order to survive this one! Paul was caught in the middle of a terrible storm. The waves came crashing down onto the ship. The sailors had to work hard to keep the ship from filling completely with water. The ship was being tossed up and down (sway back and forth). The wind grew stronger and stronger. The wind howled all day and all night. Because the wind and waves crashed against the sides of the boat it felt like the ship was going to break apart. And so it will seem with your own life, but god has a plan! Even though it seemed as though no one would survive this storm!!
The ship was towing a small lifeboat. The lifeboat was interfering with the progress of the ship. It was making it difficult to steer the ship where they wanted it to go. With great difficulty the sailors hoisted the lifeboat up out of the waters.
You see, I hear God saying that many times you will be like the sailors and think well I have a life boat a life line just in case the shipwrecks but God will even take that away from you in this storm! Why? Because God does not want anyone to get the glory out of your lives, but him! So in order to keep you from boasting and saying you did this or you did that God will have you to throw your life line away!
The very thing you thought was your back up plan to safety is now gone! Now you must trust (faith) in God and god a lone to make this journey! Just as it was dark for many days for Paul on this journey it will be dark for you as well! It will even seem as though you are going to die both naturally and spiritually in this storm, but don’t loose faith, the Lord has a plan for you! (Acts 27:13-20).
I hear God saying that many of you are causing shipwrecks in our own lives because you refusing to humble yourselves and to listen to take heed to the voice of the Lord in this season! God is telling many of you to go in this direction; but instead you choose your own (easy) route refusing to ride out the waves and instead taking the hard route that will lead you down the path and the plan that god has prepared for your life!
Just as Paul said to the ship-master, “Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. And now i exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship. For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom Ii serve, saying, fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me. Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.” (Acts 27:21-26) I hear God saying stay in the ship, follow directions, and be obedient to the man or the woman of god who is giving you divine anointed directions in this season and you will not suffer loss in this season saith the Lord!
Paul said to the Centurion and to the soldiers, except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved. Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off (Acts 27: 31-32).
You see, God did not let one of the words spoken to Paul by the angel fall to the ground! God sent the angel to encourage Paul because he knew that the waves would be great and the journey long, so god sent a word of encouragement to strengthen Paul for the trials and tests that he was about to endure ahead!
That is why I am writing this message to day to encourage you to hold on no matter how the storms may blow and how the waves may look it is only an illusion from the enemy to magnify your trials and test on this day! God has your back and he has a plan and a way out for you on today! Just as he did Paul and you will swim to dry land, but stay in the ship, until God send your angel to give you direction to make it to dry land! (Acts 27:41-44).
