The Battle is Not Yours
“He said, “Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Listen, King Jehoshaphat! This is what The LORD says: Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” 2 Chronicles 20:15 (NLT)
Dear Ones: The Battle is Not Yours!
King Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah saw their enemies surrounding them. They fasted and prayed.
The LORD answered and filled the prophet’s mouth with His words. But today our enemies are not necessarily flesh and blood that are not discernible with the natural eye.
However, like Jehoshaphat, we are to believe that The LORD is fighting for us, with us, and through us against all that is opposing us today.
Is it a medical issue?
The LORD your Healer is with you.
Is it a financial issue?
The LORD your Provider owns all the land and the cattle on every hill.
Is it a relational issue with family?
The LORD your Comforter and your Peace is able to defeat strife, jealousy, and hate.
Is it a career issue with your work?
The LORD your Righteousness is able to bring all your business dealing under His control and give you favor.
Remember, the battle is not yours, but God’s!
Philippians 4:6,19 admonishes us to, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; … And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Sow the seeds of these verses in your heart and allow them to strengthen your faith even in the midst of the storm.
Be convinced that the battle is not yours but God’s.
No matter what issue confronts you today, He is fighting for you.
He is able to take you through to victory. Have a victorious day in The LORD.
I bless you in Jesus’ Name.
