Most actual warfare is the battle of our own mind!

As Francis Frangipane said in his book “Three Battlegrounds“, “A Stronghold is not a thought but a house of thoughts…….”

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (NKJV).

These strongholds (or house of thoughts) that have built up over a lifetime and become a way of living, must be cast down and replaced with the word of God until you build a stronghold of the word of God in their place!

We can cast out demons all day long but if we do not renew our mind with The Word of God and replace old thought patterns we will continue to do what we have always done!

If you cast Devils out of someone who does not continue in The Word of God, the devils will come back 7 times worse and have that persons mind for a playground!

If you cast Demons out of a person and do not disciple them or get them somewhere where they can be discipled then you will do them a disservice.

Let’s grow up in The Body of Christ and truly see what The Word of God says so that we can go on to more weightier things.

Yes, we are to cast out devils — but you can’t cast out a stronghold, only the demons that have taken up residence in those strongholds! Then we must teach people to renew their minds!

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free,”” John 8:31-32.
