The Barefoot Prophets
A Word to the “The Barefoot Prophets!”
There are many who call themselves “Prophets” in the world of “Christiandom” today.
But I know in my spirit that there are so many unseen and unknown true prophets of God.
They do not seek fame or money or man’s approval or even The Church’s approval. They do not even seek the approval of other Prophets.
They are very humble. I see them with “bare feet.” They know they are on Holy Ground.
They do not take their calling lightly. They do not make a name for themselves. They do not even know what other Prophets are saying as their full attention is upon the Face of Jesus Christ.
They only seek God. They only seek His approval. They only seek His Face.
They seek the True Word. They seek Jesus and Him alone. They are the barefoot “Jesus Prophets.”
I see them sitting at His Feet like Mary did. Jesus said that only ONE THING is necessary and that Mary had chosen the “good part.”
These barefoot Jesus Prophets only choose the Good Part. They know only ONE THING and that is Jesus and Him crucified.
They wait daily to see what He will say. It matters not what is going on around them. All chaos can be breaking loose, yet still they sit and wait, intently gazing upon the Face of Jesus. Waiting on Him…..
“Beloved. You have chosen the Good Part. You have chosen the One Thing.
You have been set aside and consecrated unto Me. This Good Portion, your Portion shall not be taken away from you.
No man or demon can change what I have ordained. You are the Called, the Chosen, and the Faithful.
We sit alone, you and I. Away from the distractions and the chaos of this world.
You are seated with Me in heavenly places, far above all principalities and powers.
I have removed the shoes from your feet as you stepped upon the Holy Ground.
I have washed the dust of the world from your feet.
I give Grace to the humble. I will not take away My Grace from you, neither shall any man pluck you out of My Hand.
You reflect your meek and humble Redeemer. Yes. At My Feet are peace, purity, joy.
At My Feet you hear clearly. You hear My Voice, because We are so close.
An alluring and wicked world steals the affections of many. But you have come to Me drawn by the Spirit. Wait and see what I will say to you.
Stand upon your watch, My Watchman on the Wall. Watch to see what I will say to you. Write the vision, and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run that reads it.
For the Vision is yet for an appointed Time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Wait for My Timing. So many have run ahead of the Spirit. They are fueled by their pride. They listen to the wrong voice. The voice of men or the enemy.
But those who wait upon The LORD shall renew their strength by the Spirit.
Yes, you shall mount up on wings as an eagle. You shall run and not be weary, walk and not faint.
Some have grown tired and weary, and man have stumbled and fallen. But you have chosen the Good Part, Beloved.
You have chosen Me. You have chosen to wait upon the Spirit. You know that waiting at your Savior’s Feet brings great Revelation.
For the Spirit is revealing the Deep Things of your God.
Therefore sit and wait upon Me, Dear One. Do not be anxious for anything. I AM with you always. I will speak to you.
My Word will not return void, but it will accomplish My Good Pleasure. It will prosper where it is sent.
Therefore, watch, wait, listen; be still, and know that I AM God. Move only as the Spirit gives you utterance. Then release My Word!
You will indeed go out with joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands!
Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit!” says The LORD of Hosts.
BARE FEET : Holy ground
In the Bible, God tells Moses to remove his shoes when he approaches the burning bush because he is standing on holy ground. In Jewish tradition, priests who served in the temple and tabernacle did so barefoot all year because they were standing on holy ground.
Dedication and love : In some traditions, pilgrims walk barefoot on holy paths as a sign of their love and dedication.
Vulnerability : Walking barefoot can represent walking more like children, without being weighed down by prejudices and misconceptions.
Transition : Jesus washed the feet of his disciples as a sign of intimacy and transition, as they moved from their old life to a new one.
The nakedness and BARE FEET of the prophet Isaiah (20:2) symbolize and express sympathy for the forlorn condition of captives (compare Job 12:17, 19) The King James Version and the Revised Version (British and American) have translated it “spoiled,” but authorities give the true translation as “barefoot”). ©Commentaries, Biblehub
“But The LORD answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; but only ONE THING is necessary, for Mary has chosen the GOOD PART, which shall not be taken away from her.”” Luke 10:41-42.
“I recall this to my mind, Therefore I wait. The LORD’S acts of lovingkindness and mercy indeed do not end, for His compassions do not fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I wait for Him.” The LORD is good to those who await Him, To the person who seeks Him. It is good that he waits silently for the salvation of The LORD.” Lamentations 3:21-26.
“My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand. My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand.” John 10:27.
“Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall. But those who wait upon The LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:30-31.
“So My word that proceeds from My mouth will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish what I please, and it will prosper where I send it. You will indeed go out with joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.” Isaiah 55:11.
“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And The LORD answered me, and said, ‘Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.’ Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.” Habakkuk 2:1.

Thank you, Lord for encouraging your servants and speaking into our own vernaculars. And thank you, Deborah, for your faithful witness. Let us all heed what the Lord tells us as His royal priests, speak out from even the housetops what He whispers in our ears, and apply it beyond the walls, into the fields and the streets of the cities. Let us faithfully occupy until You come for Your bride upon the Earth, all the while, looking to You.
