The Ark
The LORD began to deal with me regarding The ARK.
Based on this revelation, I believe The “ARK” He instructed Noah to build is symbolic of not only a physical place of preservation, but also a spiritual covenant of God’s protection, an archetype of the secret place (Psalm 91)
“So God said to Noah, ‘I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.'” Genesis 6:13-14 NIV
They despised Noah’s message because they were unbelievers, people who were engrossed in worldly pursuits, their wickedness and corruption.
Their focus on earthly desires and sinful behavior blinded them to the gravity of Noah’s message and warnings of impending danger.
Jehovah has been calling His People to renounce the covenants made with idols and renew the broken covenant with Him — to hide in Him, seek refuge in Him.
For indeed, the days ahead were perilous and darkness would indeed cover the lands.
I believe this is what I hear The Holy Spirit say, “Tell them child, that I AM a Covenant Keeper and I desire that none perish!
But I have warned the wicked to forsake his ways and the righteous to return to me but none listened.
They went the way of their heathen and idolatrous hearts.
I even made Myself known to a people who do not know Me, yet they rejected Me, not remembering that when they were bloodied in their sins and trespasses I swaddled them.
They went upon every high hill to sacrifice to their gods and blasphemed against My Holy Name.
They murdered the innocent and desecrated My temples.
They brought Baal into My Sanctuary.
The seas have been made into cemeteries and a burial ground — polluted. For they have made the flesh of mankind for bait.
Tell them run, hide, shut their doors — for the evil one comes, ruthless avenger!
They will either hear, or they will forbear — but their blood will I not require at your hands.”
“And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live.” Ezekiel 16:6
“Know therefore that The LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;” Deuteronomy 7:9
“Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto The LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:7
“I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name,I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’ All day long I have held out my hands to an obstinate people, who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations — a people who continually provoke me to my very face, offering sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on altars of brick; who sit among the graves and spend their nights keeping secret vigil;who eat the flesh of pigs, and whose pots hold broth of impure meat; who say, ‘Keep away; don’t come near me,for I am too sacred for you!’Such people are smoke in my nostrils, a fire that keeps burning all day” Isaiah 65:1-5
“Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered thyself to another than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.” Isaiah 57:7-8
“When I say unto the wicked, thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 19Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.” Ezekiel 3: 18-19
“I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, The LORD, do all these things.” Isaiah 45:7
