The apple of thine eye is not adulterous, but is faithful.

Apples:- Fruit: Words; sin; temptation; appreciation (as in giving a teacher an apple); fruit of the Spirit.

The LORD is speaking today and He is speaking to me regarding His fruit and just how important it truly is in this season, to the people of God!

He said that the Apple is important because it is sweet and to be desired; not just to the taste, but to the eyes.

Remember, Adam and Eve, how Eve also desired the fruit even after being warned by God not to touch the tree in the midst of the garden? Her desire went deeper than just a desire, but turned into lust!

Scripture tells us,

“And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of it any how. And, she took the the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And, because she did the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons,” Genesis 3:6-7 KJV.

But, as I began to meditate upon God’s word, I heard the LORD say, “My son, keep My Words, and lay up My Commandments with thee.

Keep my commandments, and live; and MY LAW AS THE APPLE OF THINE EYE. (Just as Eve did when her eyes began to lust, crave, and to desire things that was not good.) Bind them upon thy fingers, (take hold of them) write them upon the table of thine heart.

Say unto wisdom, thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman: that they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words,” (Proverbs 7:1-6).

You see, had Eve taken the spoken word of God and obeyed God she would never have allowed Satan to trick her into disobeying God.

But because she failed to take hold of the word of God and to plant it in her heart, the enemy stole more than just fruit, he stole the seed; God’s Word, that would taken root in her heart!

Proverbs give us a deep understanding and peek of how the enemy is so subtle and sneaky when it comes to the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life (which is not of the Father but of the world) when we allow sin to fester and to manifest in our hearts!

For, it states, “At the window of my house (the eyes of the soul) I looked through my casement, and beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding, (somebody without God’s word; wisdom and understanding).

Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house, (this house is our temple which is the place God takes up residence) In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night: and, behold, there met him a woman (to entice him and to tempt him) with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.”

Isn’t it profound how the enemy uses the things that looks good to the flesh to keep us in bondage; not things we don’t want but even things God has forbidden us to not partake of.

You see, this woman desires overtook her when Satan began to enter her heart with lust he sent somebody that she could entice that she considered to be simple in order to cause an innocent soul to fill her ungodly appetite to fall!

Not only was he simple but she allowed Satan to cause her to dress like a harlot to lore in a gullible soul like Eve did Adam, enticing him to bite the forbidden fruit!

You see, Satan’s job is not just to use you, but to recruit others to partake of the forbidden fruit of the garden this season! Spirits of seduction work to seduce you out of God’s perfect will!

Not only did this woman dress as a harlot, but she became loud! Wanting to draw attention to herself, so her victim would not miss her!

And, not only was she loud but she was stubborn; (she was determined) her feet abide NOT in her house: (Meaning she was a woman that was busy in something other than her godly duties that brought no substance or was productive). Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.

HELP US HOLY GHOST! This woman allowed Satan to take total control over her emotions, feelings and had forgotten all about things like integrity, and decency! (Proverbs 7:6-13).

“So, she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him, I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows. Therefore came I forth to meet thee, {diligently} to seek thy face, and I have found thee. I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works , with fine linen of Egypt. I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.

Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us comfort ourselves with loves. For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey: He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed. With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.

He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.

Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. (Proverbs 7:13-27 KJVS)

I believe that God is saying in this season that if the people of God are ever to defeat the enemy, we are going to have to discern the enemy and the type of fruit Satan is bringing.

For, it is okay to desire things that are good to eat, pleasant to the eyes, and to make one wise in knowing God but the sin comes in when God specially warns us not to touch, taste or to disobey him by desiring things that he does not want us to have!

Which, makes the temptation ALL THE MORE GREAT!

Look how much the woman in Proverbs did just to seduce and to trick this poor man into getting in the bed of hell with her. Just as Satan is diligent so must the people of God in this season!

We cannot allow the Goodman to leave and to take the goods with him, but thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our LORD Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the LORD, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the LORD, (1 Corinthians 15: 57-58)

For, Satan knows that God has declared and decreed certain things over our lives just as he did with Adam and Eve and his job is to distract us and to move us away from the things that God has warned us to not do!

And, doesn’t just want your soul but he also uses us to entice others when we are not busy taking care of our own house!
