This old song came marching through my spirit, to remind me, that “the answer” I have been searching for, “is already on the way.”

Many times I’m bowed beneath a heavy load
And on bended knees to God a prayer I prayed
As I knelt there on the floor
He reminded me once more
That the answer is already on the way.

Yes the answer’s on the way this I know
Jesus said it, I believe it and it’s so
Our heavenly Father knows our need before we pray
And we can rest assured the answer’s on the way
If there’s a special need within your life my friend

And you’re seeking for an answer every day
If by faith you’ll start believing
Mighty soon you’ll be receiving
For the answer is already on the way
Hold fast to what you’ve heard, and don’t let it go . .
