News from Israel : The 9th of Av — A Crucial Moment in Time to Pray!

On August 4 2024, The Times of Israel headline read: “Report: Iran plans to carry out retaliatory strike on Israel on Tisha B’Av, August 12-13”

The Report said:

“Unnamed Western intelligence sources quoted by the UAE-owned Sky News Arabia indicate that Iran and Hezbollah plan to launch their retaliatory strike against Israel on Tisha B’av, the day of mourning for the destruction of the two Jewish temples, which begins this year at sunset on August 12 and ends on August 13 at nightfall.”

Read the Report, and you’ll see that Hezbollah and Hamas want Israel destroyed by or around Tisha B’ av – 9th of Av.

Here’s a global wrap-up timeline; crucial prayer for Israel needed now.

• Historically, for millennia, whenever there’s been war(s) against Israel, the result has been mass destruction, holocausts, pogroms, inquisitions, death. Israelis know about the 9th of Av in their history, so they are taking these threats seriously. With good caution, Israel’s Prime Minister and top military command are under extra protection.
• Running to bomb shelters, having a safe-room (like a bomb shelter bedroom) are necessary parts to any home in Israel. Every few seconds thousands of rockets and fire bombs are over the skies and land of Israel. (We can’t imagine that: babies, children, animals hearing siren alarms 24/7 overhead).
• And yet through it all – I believe, God is crying out to His people: I AM YESHUA – YOUR MESSIAH- ONLY I CAN SAVE YOU. HERE I AM. CALL TO ME. That’s why the most tangible way to obey the command to pray for and bless the Jew is practical: supporting ministries that directly build bomb shelters in the land, send ambulances, give food and medical aid to many who have no more gardens, no food to eat. God can do miracles With just a few loads of bread and a few fish. God can save nations if He can find a few that will give Him no rest – until He answer. It’s in His Word.

☆ Ministries like Sid Roth, Vision for Israel, F.I.R.M. (Found.for Israel related ministries), CBN Israel, Daystar Israel, Larry Huch Ministries and others are doing that daily. Just to name a few.

• Av is the Hebrew month we are in now. (Our August– their Av). Israel is 7 hours ahead of our EST time – so we are behind time-wise on calendar date. ⬇️ p.s.: We know from many scriptures not only will Israel never be destroyed, but God will destroy those who come at her. God sword by His own name, Israel will never be destroyed. Case closed.
• Like all wars [instigated and financed] by those with a anti-semitic blind frenzied rage, and religious fanaticism or greed and jealousy, the enemy (through governments) doesn’t care who dies as long as he get what he wants: the land.It’s all about Land: conquest, dominion.
• The enemy knows what’s written in the history books and in the nations’ scrolls in heaven. Do we? We – the Church – need to contend for what’s written in the books of heaven about our nations scrolls and our personal destinies. In war – there are only 2 sides: the winner or the loser and the Word of God has called the score long ago: the devil lost at the cross. It’s over.
• Most moderate Muslims (several billion in all of the Middle East) just want to work, feed their families, live in peace. It is only a faction of the few billion that are causing the mess. The insane ideologies and repressive brainwashing of a death-cult (Islamic jihad) which teaches kill the Jews and Christians (next) are not the views of the moderate, but the extremists.
• More pointedly, it’s the adversary Satan, who wants to wipe out the Jew, destroy Israel, and then set his target on Christians worldwide. Like the thief and liar he is, he is using whatever global henchmen he can manipulate to do his dirty work for him. He knows Jesus the true winner will hurl him into the pit when He returns to Israel.
• I’m praying for the growing underground church in Egypt Iran, Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, all the Muslim nations surrounding Israel who really want an end to poverty, crime, fear, death.

➡️ Please put a note somewhere you’ll see it the next few days. We need the Church at the wheel – standing in the gap for the Lord’s own family, land, and the very spot He is coming back to. Pray what He said in Psalm 122:6:

‘PRAY for the peace of Jerusalem, May they prosper who love you.’
