It says in Mark 3:14, “He appointed the twelve that they might be with Him.”

The LORD chose the disciples to teach them, minister to them, and to teach them how to minister and send them out to preach the Gospel.

But the first reason the scriptures states that the Messiah appointed or chose them, was that they might be “With Him.” They couldn’t do anything else, if not first… with Him.

All ministry comes from being with the Lord. You can only become as much as you are if you are with Him.

If you feel like you’re not really being sent into ministry, or you don’t have a ministry, or perhaps you’re waiting for it, but it isn’t really happening, maybe it’s because you’re not really being with Him the way He called you to be. Do you want a great witness?

Then you need to be a great witness. Spend time in the word, in prayer, communion, worship, loving, forgiving, receiving, and just being with Him in His presence.

Then you will have a great witness. Then you will be great and mighty in ministry, when you become great and mighty in becoming one with the Messiah.
