Thanksgiving
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation,” Psalms 10:4-5 NLT.
My child, these are the days of Thanksgiving. Gratitude from a humble and contrite heart is a sweet smelling savor to Me. It is a time to recognize the ONE Who has showered blessings upon you day after day. Yes, even when you are in the midst of trials, I bless and protect you and yours.
Although corporately a special day has been set aside to give thanks, it should be something you do every day. This is a way to keep your heart from being lifted up in pride. Search the Scriptures and you will see that praise and thanksgiving go hand in hand. Come into My courts with praise and thanksgiving and you will find peace, comfort, joy, and abundant blessings.
When you give thanks to Me, you plant seeds of gratitude which produce wonderful fruit. A sincere expression of thanks in the spiritual realm has the power to destroy strongholds and break generational chains of darkness. Being thankful reveals the depth of humility and dependence needed to advance to higher spiritual ground. This is where you learn to exercise the spiritual authority of the Son. Yes, every Christian should be about obeying My Son’s command: heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the leper, and cast out demons. The grateful heart never takes the glory but is thankful to be used in power by the ONE Who has won the victory.
Rejoice with thanksgiving. Sing praises and songs of gratitude as you come up higher and higher to the place I have call you to be. I smile upon your thankful hearts and release showers of blessings on you and yours today. Shalom.
“Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you,” Luke 10:19 NLT.
