Testimony of An Intercessor
My eyes are fixed on the Lord
The watch is set, my words I guard
To keep the vigil of a pray-ers call
Even as the watchman stands on the wall
Awake and alert is the order of the day
No longer timid, HIS strength is my way
Confident in HIM, unshakeable I’ll stand
Now waiting to heed HIS every command
Hope no longer deferred, as faith has matured
As the testing has come, but I have endured
To join the company of the Holy Remnant
Now a mighty army enforcing HIS commandments
It is time to be about the Father’s business
Entering the fields, attending to HIS interests
No longer in fear of the faces of men
Now working in earnest to begin again
What was once hidden, now will be uncovered
Treasures from the deep, now discovered
The shorelines will be empty in the middle of the day
As the people gather to HIM, no longer to stray
As the Holy Remnant marches forth to HIS call
No longer hampered by the weight of the fall
Now walking in unity with the HOLY ONE
Giving HIM the glory for all that is done
