You are a three part being, Body, Soul, and Spirit and you all live in the Temple that Jesus died and paid for!

The soul is the mind, will, and emotions. The Body is neutral and does what either the un-renewed soul tells it to do or is led by The Spirit.

The key is the saving of the soul (mind, will, emotions) by the washing of the water of the word, so that all three are aligned AS ONE!

Jesus operated like this. The reason that He never sinned is because He was continually under the control of the Spirit!

He walked this out so that we could all learn how to walk like Him. He walked in the Spirit all the time! This was not done because his flesh had gotten so good, no your flesh is never good unless it is placed under the control of the Spirit…..

No, FLESH IS ALWAYS FLESH!

He was able to walk under the control of the Spirit because, like the Apostle Paul, He died daily! (1 Corinthians 15:30)

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death,” Romans 8:1-2 (2!st Century KJV).

You Are Not Obligated to Your Flesh! You Have the Power of the Spirit Now!

“So then, brethren, we are debtors, but not to the flesh [we are not obligated to our carnal nature], to live [a life ruled by the standards set up by the dictates] of the flesh.
For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually] putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the [evil] deeds prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God,” Romans 8:12-13 (AMPC).

The Key is to Walk in the Spirit and Let Him Live

The key is to walk in The Spirit not to try and improve the flesh like all of the self help books tell you to do, which are rooted in the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. No, the key is to walk in The Spirit which is rooted in The Tree of Life!

“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” Galatians 5:16-18 (NKJV).
