Take the Time to Play These Scriptures of Hope Today
Good afternoon.
Today I just wish to bring you the simplest of messages for encouragement in these trying times!
My heart is for The LORD to use me to restore hope back to some who are losing hope now. Many Christians focus is getting dim today.
The first Scripture here is:
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8
We need our minds renewed in Christ every day.
We make things so complicated often times. We must keep our eyes on The LORD Above!
Some more scriptures to encourage you are:
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:35-39
In this day and time we are often wondering what do we do about this? What do we do about that? Here it is in Micah 6:8
“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth The LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” Micah 6:8
How simple is that? Do the right thing. The LORD does not make it hard!
In 1 John 2:15-17 the Word of God says:
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” 1 John 2:15-17
Love not the world surely. Still, we must remember the Kingdom of God is within us.
You just don’t love the world. Some even separate from society. That is not The LORD’s intent! We are to let our lights shine in this world.
Sometimes it’s just a smile or a hug people need, even. It can be just that simple.
Moving on the last scriptures read, are among my favorites:
“Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My Yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I AM meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My Yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
Know Jesus Christ is alive and well still today!
There is a old song “Come unto Me”. He will give us all the rest we need.
Also He will give us His Peace. It surely does pass all understanding.
God bless you all.
