Take Me Home — I Long to Go
Good morning.
I’m talking about going forward — not back, today!
“Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.” Philippians 4:11.
Some of us have very painful memories of our past. Some have good memories.
To some of us, our life’s are a mixture of both good and bad!
With me that is the case. It is life at its best, and life at its very worse, many times!
You know, I have said to The LORD and people a lot of times, I wouldn’t trade my life for anyone else’s.
Life is a most precious gift from God. Are we sad, or are we joyful? You choose!
Notice here I didn’t say the Word ‘happy.’ Happiness is a fleeting emotion controlled by our circumstances.
Now joy, I had rather choose!
Some of the most content and peaceful people, are the ones who have not only endured but have learnt from their trials in life.
You can let life break you or make you. I can’t offer you any natural solutions, as I know not any to be honest.
Still we can choose to drink from The LORD’s cup.
Turn it up! It is a Salvation cup. Get a cool drink deep from a well that will never run dry!
“I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of The LORD.” Psalm 116:13.
In my memories, is a ‘well’ at my elderly grandparents country house.
Yes, I even drew water as a teenager to help out when I stayed with them. I loved being around them.
Also I sat with my godly older grandmother with my hands on hers, churning milk as a small child. I really thought I was helping, lol.
She was teaching me many things along with my grandfather, and I didn’t even know it at the time.
Us grandkids called them Mama and Papa. I can still hear the old ‘mantle clocks’ ticking in the silence in their older house as I would stay for the week.
To this day I love a clock ticking. I am content to often be home, and stay out of the crowds.
In this generation, I see too many have to be on the go and in the roads all the time!
People are often busy, and I get that. Still are we too busy? What are we rushing to often times?
Shouldn’t we have a purpose to all things we do?
What about the old phrase, “You need to slow down and smell the roses.”
Find your balance and focus only in The LORD. There is where real contentment lies.
Staying too busy can be a trap, to try to fill a void that only Jesus Christ can fill in our hearts!
He loves you and me and longs to be number one. 💕
I pray God’s richest blessings over you this day. Go forward not back.
We must keep going ‘Home’ to the Fathers heart! Heal and love again only by His grace and mercy.
Let Jesus Christ in!
It is the best choice you will ever make.
“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.” Ecclesiastes 9:11.
“And thou shalt love The LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.” Mark 12:30.
“Therefore the redeemed of The LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.” Isaiah 51:11.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23.

Mama, we return all Glory to our God for the in sights. May God increase your Anointing & Grant you divine Health in Jesus name. Thanks for your kind words
Thank you much Adams I receive. Absolutely All glory belongs to the Lord!
Mama, all we are chasing here on earth keep slipping through our hands like grains of sand. This is because EVERYTHING ON EARTH IS VANITY! HE WHO CANT ENDURE CAN’T LEARN! Even in the Bible, we are taught to ENDURE! The truth is that there is no real contentment anywhere except in Christ! The earlier we realize this, the better for us! May God give us the Grace to draw nearer to our Lord Jesus Christ always as HE is our only source of true contentment here on earth & eternity. Thanks
Absolutely, Adams. Much wisdom in what you say! 1 Tim 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.Sad, but so many don’t want to endure. Yes for that grace to draw nearer our Lord! As always you sad a mouthful. God bless you and your family.
