Strangers And Family
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Strangers And Family
The strangers He sends
Who come knocking on your door
Unable to help themselves
Do not turn them away, my dear friend
For He has sent them to you
To have a heart of Christ
To be a light in their darkness
To lead them to redemption
May The SPIRIT of The LORD be with you
That everything you put your hands to prospers
May He give you the strength and knowledge
To show you how to reach them
To show compassion as Christ did
Allow His Plans to become yours
And in lifting up who He sends, You too are lifted up
It’s all part of His Grand Design
The family He sends
Who once upon a time strayed
Who got caught up and lost in this world
Do not turn them away, my dear friend
For even though they have burnt bridges
He still desires mercy over judgement
Forgiveness over resentment
To be a reflection of Christ by the Grace of God
Oh you may not think you are strong enough
To face this calling He has called you to
But He knows you and has equipped you
In ways you know not,
And you may think your life is unproductive
And insignificant, but it is not;
He is using you in a mighty way
So yield and surrender to Him and He will guide you
Oh my beautiful brother in Christ
Whether it is a stranger or family
God will work His Way through
The lives you have touched;
For nothing is too hard or impossible for Him
For all things work together for the good
That He has purposed in you through Christ
Just trust and believe my dear friend
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
“For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:37
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
“Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6
“You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I AM The LORD.” Leviticus 19:18
“Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a priest was going down that road, and when he saw him he passed by on the other side. So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him. And the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, ‘Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.’ Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?” He said, “The one who showed him mercy.” And Jesus said to him, “You go, and do likewise.”“ Luke 10:30-37

“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.
