Strange Sights — Another Vision and Word about Wells
“Then he brought me back to the door of the temple; and there was water, flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the front of the temple faced east; the water was flowing from under the right side of the temple, south of the altar. . . .” Ezekiel 47:1-6 (truncated)
This morning, while waiting on The LORD, I saw something quite strange.
I saw a Church which seemed to be one of our local Churches here in my home town of Rotherham, Yorkshire, UK.
I saw what looked like a water leak, as a gentle trickle of water seeped from under one of the doors and formed a small pool outside the building. Pool? No — more like a small puddle!
People walked by, avoiding the water, but nobody from within seemed to be bothered by it or paying much attention to it.
Next, I had moved on to a bigger Church (more people). I noticed the same thing there — a gentle trickle of water coming out under a door to form a bit of a puddle outside on the entrance path.
Once again, nobody seemed to heed it at all, and passers by were simply avoiding the puddle. This happened at more local Churches.
Eventually, I saw a much bigger puddle — more like a very small pond — and people were standing around it, almost admiring it!
Yet they seemed at a bit of a loss as to what they were supposed to do about it. There was another Church like this too, but again, the people seemed a bit nonplussed by it all — as if surprised.
Finally, The LORD showed me one of the biggest local Churches where a veritable flow of water, a mini river if you like, flowed out.
The doors were open and a large pool of water could be seen inside the building. This pool was bubbling up as if a powerful leak, like a wee geyser, was erupting from somewhere below.
People were busy sweeping the water away towards the town drainage and sewer system. They were doing so quite cheerfully to, often saying what fun they were having.
Not one of them appeared to realise what was really going on!
I turned to The LORD, who appeared to be standing next to me, and asked Him about it. He said this, “What you’ve been watching appears to be your town, but really it’s virtually every town anywhere.
Here you have Churches given a wee taste of the Anointing of Revival, and most of them try to step around it — avoiding it and certainly not getting their feet wet.
Next you saw places where a bigger Anointing was given. People were happy and even showed their anointing off to anyone interested — but once again, they were pleased that Revival had touched them, but they had no real interest or commitment to take it any further!”
“Finally”, He said, “you saw a place where an old well of revival had opened up. The water of life was flowing everywhere but the people, recognising what they had, were rejecting it (sweeping it away into the drainage system)
Although they were enjoying Revival for a time, they were saying, enough is enough, we don’t want any more!”
As I took this in, with mounting disappointment, The LORD then showed me a Church, and I got the impression this was local too, where there was a steady stream of water coming under the door, where an open pool within was bubbling away, and, as in Ezekiel 47, the water flowing from it made an ever growing stream.
The people around it were laughing, dancing, singing, and just praising God. It was obvious that this Church had embraced Revival, and was partaking of it with their whole hearts.
“Until My People and My Church accept and embrace revival like this, there will only be a limited outpouring.
Just as I have shown you, individual Churches will receive revival only to the same degree that they embrace it.
Those that reject it will receive nothing. Those that receive it a bit will see Revival to the degree they choose.
Those who fully embrace it will join My Remnant Church and they shall see revival in all it’s Glory.
My Presence shall rest and manifest with those who fully embrace My Spirit as He moves in their midst.
But those who reject Him, or only partially receive Him, shall receive only in proportion to their reaction to Him.
I, The LORD, declare it!”
There is an old well in many, many old Churches — we’ve seen them almost everywhere we go.
A well dug by your forefathers many years ago — sometimes only a few years but often centuries ago.
There are cities, towns, and villages — often long since lost in history — where a little investigation will reveal an old Well of Revival.
It is time to uncap and reopen those old wells and release those streams, maybe rivers, of life once more.
However, a gentle warning. Understand The LORD will hold responsible those who reopen the old wells irresponsibly and with no intent to embrace the resulting outpouring.
If you open the cage and release the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, He will move among you!

Chris Bennett came to salvation in 1962 but didn’t begin ministry until 2007 — a late-comer! Now mandated by The LORD to prophesy and open old wells of revival in the U.K., but especially in Wales. He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them! Founder, with wife Linda, of their ministry The Upper Room Encounter.
Thanks Chris, the prophecy is helpful and what you said about the old wells insightful. Years ago the Holy Spirit showed me, during a Sunday service, a picture/strong impression of a deep, red brick lined old well, when I was at Holy Trinity Church, Redhill, Surrey. I have puzzled for years, I just didn’t understand why or what it meant
Send revival to us Lord! Give us wisdom not to miss the hour of visitation of your Glory/revival on us as individual & as a church/churches/land in Jesus name. God bless you Sir.
Are we as believers not the wells, rather than being confined to a building or historic marker? Prov4:23 Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life. Jesus said ‘He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water’. (John 7:38). My own grandfather preached in churches and on the streets of my hometown, but that does not mean I am made or called to the same works or ministry as he was. Around 40 years ago, people began thinking that they were filled with the Spirit in a ‘new’ way, and dismissed the faith and faithfulness of the older generation.
TRUE WELL, FALSE WELL
There is a Pool of Siloam that was discovered in 2004, and that is the original pool. There is a Pool of Siloam from Byzantine times, so it is not the Biblical pool.
Why is this important? There will be a church that has wells that the church has blessed. In contrast, there will be a remnant church that has wells that God has blessed. This is relevant to me because God shared the ‘Keys to Anointings’ with me. There is a photo that shows the location of the 2 pools. Holy Spirit, thank you for discernment.

May the well of revival open up and be embraced here in my town!
A Second Temple ‘Pool of Siloam’ was discovered in 2004. The well has been re-opened.
