Strange and Unusual Teachings
“That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive” Ephesians 4:14.
“These are the last days and many people will fall into various temptations. I have said that even if possible, the elect would be deceived. For many strange and unusual teachings will cause some to fall prey to these things.
For ever since the beginning of time the deceiver has been weaving his lies of deception. For some of these things have been clothed in a false light — they have been forged in deceit and lies. And in these last days these teachings have come to the forefront. But you should know my beloved, what is true and what is not.
There are clear streams of water that come from my throne and there are foul waters that come from the enemy’s camp. Learn to discern the difference. When I come back for my own will I have found you involved with TRUTH, or will some of my own have been tricked into believing a lie?
I tell you that lies and deceit can spread like wildfire. Entire movements have begun with one individual who thought that he had been given a revelation, but later on it was found that he was deluded by another spirit.
I tell you that if you have the foundation it would be far better to get rid of what you have built upon to get rid of all the stones that were false, and to go back to the beginning again. Study to show yourselves approved as one who knows the word, and can identify a counterfeit. I have said that many could get carried away by strange and unusual teachings, and some are now in these last days. ”
