Stop Looking for Life to Be Comfortable
Stop looking for life to be comfortable…
We’re always looking for comfortability in life. Yet we fail to realize that God’s Plan for this life is that you remain uncomfortable.
Would you like to know why?
Have you ever sat in an uncomfortable chair? What was the end result? You didn’t sit there for long, and eventually you got up and moved.
But if you sat in a lazy-boy recliner, what’s going to happen? You’ll find yourself real comfortable; remote-in-hand, drink on the side, maybe even a nice, cozy blanket. And you may eventually fall asleep.
The point is, when we become comfortable, we become immobile.
Jesus and His disciples were always on the move throughout His ministry on earth.
Later on in the Book of Acts, we find that the Apostles did the same. The entire first-century church was constantly on the move.
But let’s go back to the Old Testament: even the tabernacle God instructed Moses to make was mobile.
There was a point God was making here people…
Stagnant water cannot harbor life.
A stagnant heart dies.
And a stagnant walk with Christ is not a walk, but spiritual death.
Jesus did not leave His “comfort zone” to come to earth, live, die, and resurrect so that you can become comfortable. And any leader that teaches, preaches, or prophesies such is apostate.
Your uncomfortable lifestyle is a reminder that this life is NOT your destination. So keep moving! Be grateful, because for those who seem like they have all the “earthly treasures” of this life, Jesus is probably on the outside of their door knocking. And if they don’t answer, this will more than likely be the only heaven that they’ll know.
Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not of this world. If My Kingdom were of this world, My Servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My Kingdom is not from here.” (John 18:36).

Phil 3:8
Things of this world are worth nothing compared with the riches and glory of knowing Christ Jesus as my Lord. Because of Christ, I no longer care for worldly things, and now I know that every thing I desired was worthless trash. All I want now is Christ.
My thoughts:
Where your treasure is your heart is.
Besides Christ, I find treasure loving God’s creation in a never ending quest of lifting up my brothers and sisters. Teaching those who will listen to love and obey Christ with everything they do and with everything they can give.
Romans 5:3-5
“but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope makes not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who is given unto us.”
Truth. Thank you

Excellent!
Absolute excellent words Mena.
I want to add something, because we must often avoid the uncomfortable things. I had an experiences of this some years ago when I had worked one day in a horribel place. Because I could chose to say yes or no when I
was asked to go to a certain place I
decided to “never put my foot again in this horribel place”.
In the same moment I said that to myself I heard the Lord say “don’t avoid trials”.
I will not tell a long story but I
went there everytime they wanted without complaining, which I then understood, was nessecary for to reach next trial (blessings) on the path God has ordered.
