Stop Holding Your Breath!
So many are holding their breath waiting to see what The LORD is about to do. And God is saying, “Don’t hold your breath — use every moment to usher in My presence!”
I feel The LORD is saying — Do not be so concerned about the troubled times ahead — just look forward to fulfilled promises.
Not every word The LORD speaks is for our time and generation. Some of His Words are to pass on for future times.
The Word of God declares we must study and not necessarily investigate The Word of God.
“If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before The LORD that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.” 2 Timothy 2:13-16.
Yes, we are to pull apart and dissect God’s word to receive understanding, clarity, and revelation.
“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” Revelation 22:18-20
However, when we finish pulling the word apart — make sure to put in back in proper order.
God has given us an assignment to report the news (Good News) and that does not mean we have to be the news.
Brothers and sister let us put forth every effort to make sure we are representing Messiah Jesus correctly.
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 2 Timothy 3:1-7
Just a reminder — every voice we hear and think is The LORD may not always be the case.
The flesh is very tricky. Fleshly thoughts will have a person wanting to get on the bandwagon and do what others are doing.
“Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of The LORD Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.” A cts 19:13-16.
Many people who read these posts do not have Bibles. The only Gospel they see and hear is from what authors write and speak.
I am encouraged to share The Gospel Message of Jesus and I do that by pointing to His Word.
I am the pencil and paper, but The LORD is the true Author. His Book (Bible) was written and published many years before my birth.
The Body of Christ is having birth pains and about to have our labor complete . Even though it hurts, this is a time of great joy.
I encourage each of you to rediscover your personal promises from The LORD.
Open up your file folders or pull out an old journal to refresh your relationship with The LORD.
While we are waiting for manifestations of God’s perfect will — let us be mindful of things we know.
We know that Jesus is the Messiah come to earth in human form. He took care of business as the Son of Man.
The Messiah is making a second return to the world but this time He comes in Full Glory — all business handled!
“Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in The LORD Jesus, and love unto all the saints, cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: and hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.” Ephesians 1:15-23
“For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus The LORD; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; always bearing about in the body the dying of The LORD Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.” 2 Corinthians 4:5-11
