Your Still Small Voice
Your Still Small Voice
Your still small voice brings me great delight.
Guiding my steps to do what is right.
Waiting upon You in the secret place
Resting on the banks of the River of Grace.
The stillness of Your voice calms my soul.
No longer afraid, I’m learning to be bold.
Seeking to know the depth of Your Love
Pursuing the knowledge that’s from above.
Joy explodes as You sing over me.
Listening to the sounds of Your sweet melody.
The music of Heaven overflows my heart
Wanting always to stay; never to depart.
I continue to linger moving closer to You.
Hungering for Your words; knowing they’re true.
Eating at Your table and tasting Your goodness
Settling for nothing short of Your fullness.
The sounds of Love drip from Your lips,
My soul responds, my desired eclipsed.
No longer wanting to follow my own way
Forever obeying Your commands; never to stray.
