Stay Faithful Through the Process
“Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.” Hebrews 3:1-2
“Today I AM saying be faithful to that which you are entrusted, not an earth shaking word but a simple truth.
“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:21
“If you know planting a seed of corn into the ground brings a harvest continue in that manner. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.” John 12:24
“It is not your job to worry about rain, sun, how fertile the soil is, or what kind of weeds surround the seed. Your job is to stay faithful to the process.
If I allow weeds to grow without effort; certainly I know the nature of a specific seed.
Children put this Word in your prayers:
“And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Genesis 8:21-22
“No matter how powerful a man’s weapon might be — he cannot wipe you off the face of the earth.
No matter how dry and hard a morsel of dirt becomes — no matter if it does not rain for forty days — no matter if you fail to see the sun shine I AM working behind the scenes.
Pray the Word of God over your situations. If only three people pray the same word in one region I will hear.
The enemy is hoping My People will not grasp the full power of My Word.
I challenge My People to gather in groups of three and pray the same word for three days. Watch My hand move on your behalf.”
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
“Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” Matthew 13:24-30
Note : When I was a little girl growing up my mother had one black dress which she wore to church every Sunday.
Immediately after returning home on Sundays, she took that dress off so no stains or damage could occur.
My mother was faithful to serve The LORD in whatever capacity needed.
Mother did not concern herself with who was in charge she served faithfully.
This impression of my mother still lingers in my thoughts today and I find myself duplicating the image.
Are you familiar with the “Saturday Syndrome” where a person struggles with their thoughts about going to Church on Sunday?
I pray the Saturday Syndrome dies with everyone and we become hard pressed to faithfully serve The LORD wherever needed.
Humans are not all knowing or all powerful. The LORD has given us specific duties to achieve and accomplish in The Body of Christ and in this life.
Some may not be happy or satisfied with their chosen assignment.
However, I encourage each person to function in the role for which The LORD has selected.
The LORD did not call me to be an artist — therefore, I am not out trying to paint the city red or blue!
Some are still saying, “I don’t know my purpose”.
For sure The LORD has called each of us to love, forgive, show mercy, be compassionate, and to be like Him. (Read 1 Corinthians 12 below.)
I perceive The LORD is saying come out of another man’s pasture and graze in the field of His choice. Lest you become a wondering lost sheep.
If God has called you to work in the nursery, school or prison system, be a street sweeper, caregiver, or usher; He is planning to use you in that position.
If you have no audience pray, preach, teach, reach, and yield anyway. Stay faithful to the process.
“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” Isaiah 1:19
“Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led. Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.
There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.”
Unity and Diversity in One Body
“For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body — whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free — and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many.
If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. And if they were all one member, where would the body be?
But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.” 1 Corinthians 12:1:31
