Spiritual Wisdom Concerning the Times We Are in
2 Words in 1
What Are You To Do?
This is spiritual wisdom: concerning the times we are in.
You and everyone who belongs to Jesus Christ have to do Spiritual Warfare against the powers and principalities of the air!
Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.
Bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God to the pulling down of these strongholds.
They are more powerful than we have realized. For the prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective.
When one person prays a thousand of the enemy are put to flight. When two people agree in prayer, ten thousand are put to flight.
Do you want to know why I am sharing this with you?
It’s because the Word of God says, “My people perish because of a lack of knowledge. Because they have rejected knowledge, so shall they be rejected.”
It says in Jeremiah 33:3, “Call upon Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you know not”
We must be diligent not to reject the things that the Lord wants to show us.
“Does anyone lack wisdom? Let him ask of God, for He gives it to you liberally.”
Now, stand upon the ramparts and see what He will say to you, and consider how you will answer Him when you are reproved. When you are being reproved, your mind is being renewed.
The Holy Spirit will set you straight.
For the wisdom from above is first of all pure, and peaceable; it is full of mercy and good fruit; easy to be entreated.
It is without partiality and without hypocrisy. For wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times; you will gain strength through Salvation.
The fear of the LORD will be your treasure.
“If My people. who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; I will hear them from heaven, I will forgive their sins and I will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.
It Doesn’t Have To Continue!
Envision this please. There is a pattern of gears. One large gear is in the center, and smaller gears are interconnected to it all the way around.
When all the smaller gears start to turn clockwise, the larger gear in the center spins in the counter-clockwise direction.
When the small gears turn counter-clockwise, the larger gear turns in the clockwise direction.
The larger gear represents your life, the smaller gears represent all the things going on around you, things connected to your life.
They are driving you in circles and you are having a hard time getting a handle on these things that are spinning out of control.
We tend to rely on our own strength, trying to solve things our own way, eventually becoming overwhelmed by the stresses of life.
We don’t have to let this continue. Jesus said: “Come to Me you who are heavily laden, and I will give you rest.
Come and learn from Me for My yoke is easy and My burden is light and you will find rest for your souls (your mind)”
The LORD wants us to bring all our burdens to Him.
All the things we can’t control, all of our concerns, our worries, our pains, our fears, and our circumstances.
They are big, even huge in our minds, but the LORD sees them according to God’s power and ability.
He is the LORD Who Sees and the God Who Knows.
Bring all of these things to Him and He will cause all these things to work together for the good, because you love Him, and because you are called according to His purpose.
