Spiritual Maturity
How long someone has been a “Christian” does not reflect one’s spiritual maturity.
In other words, just because you’ve been “saved” twenty-five years, doesn’t mean you’re solid in Christ.
I’ve watched babes put old men to shame when The Spirit of The LORD moved them.
Jesus is not interested in how long you’ve professed Him, how many ordinations or degrees in theology you have.
He doesn’t care how many gifts you operate in, nor how big of an audience you’ve gained. He only cares if you are producing His fruit.
Jesus said, “You will know a tree by its fruit” (Matthew 7:20)…. not their gifts, by the way.
When Jesus approached the fig tree, He wasn’t looking to see how long it had been there; He reached for its fruit, only to find there was none.
The fruit of the Spirit is the manifestation of God’s character in our lives, and that takes refinement. Age ain’t nothing but a number.
God is rising up a remnant in this season, and the outside cover isn’t the qualification, it’s what on the inside that He will search out.
Spiritual Food For Thought.
