“Forever, learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth,” 2 Timothy 3:7.

As I was meditating, I saw a picture of spilled milk on the ground.

As I began to seek the counsel of the LORD and He began to reveal to me that this milk was given as source of nourishment, but instead it is spilled on the ground and wasted. Now it cannot benefit the person it was intended for!

And, so the LORD said, “it is like crying over spilled milk!”

God has given the Church ministries to help to perfect the Church, but instead of using them to perfect it, many have begun to take the milk that was given for nourishment and have begun to cause it to spill over into the earthly realm, instead of the spiritual realm!

As a result the LORD said,

“Brethren, I could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? (Building your own kingdom)

For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the LORD gave to every man.” 1 Corinthians 3:1-5 KJV.

Help us Holy Ghost! The LORD begin to say to me that He gave the children of Israel the bronze serpent to heal those who had been bitten and to look up to live. Before he knew it, this same serpent was used as their god! Just like we in the 21st century have begun to do with the gifts and ministries God has given unto many! (1 Kings 18:4)

This just goes to show us all how easy it is for us to begin to take the things God has given for granted and to begin to use them for the wrong reason, something we must never do!

The Children of Israel complained because of their own sins, so God sent the Prophet Moses to assist them through the promised land. But these same people was ungrateful and unthankful, so God sent a poisonous snake among them to punish them and many died because of their disobedience.

Afterward, the people came crying to Moses over the ‘spilled milk’ and wanted him to fix what they themselves had messed up. God being a merciful, repented and sent a way of deliverance for them to recover, but like so many, they went right back to the spoiled milk they spilled on the ground, (Numbers 21:5-7).

Instead of learning from their mistakes, they returned back to worshipping their idols all over again!

But, what they did not know was that God was trying to teach the people a lesson about faith and trust in Him, but many failed to get it, because of their carnal state of mind! And they begin to worship the gift, more than the creator!

God wants His people to know that He has given the ministries as a gift to perfect and to up build the Kingdom of God and not for the Body to cling to the whims of mere mortal men!

For, I hear the LORD saying,

“For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the LORD gave to every man?

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth {any thing}, neither he that watereth; {but God} that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building,” 1 Corinthians 3:3-9 KJV.

God has sent this milk (meat) in our lives for nourishment and it is not their to cause the Church to spill it over into something worldly and unclean!

Many of the people of God are seeing through the eyes of carnality and they are walking as mere men and instead of using what God has given the Church for His Glory (growth and development).

You have begun to turn it into sour milk!
