Speaking Spiritual Thoughts and Words
WE SPEAK THOSE THINGS TAUGHT BY THE SPIRIT, COMBINING SPIRITUAL THOUGHTS WITH SPIRITUAL WORDS
“6 Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature; a wisdom, however, not of this age nor of the rulers of this age, who are passing away; 7 but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory; 8 the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;
9 but just as it is written,
“THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD,
AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN,
ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.”
10 For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. 11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, 13 which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words” 1 Corinthians 2:6-13.
We know that no one really knows the thoughts of a man or woman except for the person himself. And yet we have the Holy Spirit within us, and because of this amazing fact, now we have the mind of Christ within us.
The only way to understand what has been freely given to us through the Spirit of God, is to know the One who has given us all things. And to know Him is also to know the beating of His divine heart and the thoughts that He has.
When one speaks those things from God then they are speaking forth the very words of God, in the form of divine thoughts and words. They are not words learned from life experiences or through human wisdom, or taught in some seminary school or class, but instead, they proceed directly from God’s throne-room.
There are perhaps countless mysteries that some may wonder or inquire about in this life, but the greatest mystery is the “hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory…” This mystery is not something that might be unearthed in some archeological dig, or to be found in some faraway place, but it resides close by to those who would seek after it to find it. This mystery while being profound beyond comprehension, is actually quite simple. It is “Christ within us.” For this is the hidden wisdom, this is the treasure to be sought after. And yet it isn’t a jewel or riches to be acquired, but it is an entire kingdom that is not of this earth.
This entire kingdom, the Kingdom of God, then resides within us as we embrace the Spirit of God that is found there. Those things imparted from the Spirit give rise to thoughts and words that have their origin in that kingdom.
It is the treasure hidden in the field, it is the pearl of great price, and the hidden manna. For one cannot open the gates and say, “Where is this secret wisdom?” It cannot be perceived by human eyes or senses, but is seen through the eyes of the Spirit.
Don’t seek for wisdom among the many books of lore or from sages, but instead, open your heart to the One that can come and abide within you.

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to the Lord is a special way in 1975 and has been prophesying regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are to be reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
