Speaking out the Word of the LORD
My heart is heavy this morning because as a watchmen and intercessors, there are times God gives us a word of warning to people and they don’t take heed to what He says.
Sometimes the tragedy that you warn them about comes to pass, because of their rebellion and disobedience.
Many times, people reject a prophetic word of warning because they don’t want to sacrifice their lifestyle of sin and give God the ‘Yes’, He is asking them for. Receiving news that somebody you have warned has died, is never easy.
Many times, God gives me a word of warning and correction for people. Often times, He uses me in strong deliverance were He gives me the very root cause of their bondage and exactly when and what happen, that opened the door to the demonic spirits that are attacking their lives.
Many times when I pray for people, they get upset because God begins to show me the hidden things about them that they want to remain uncovered. They don’t realize, that when you ask for prayer from a person who is prophetic, a warrior, or a true intercessor, God shows them the truth about the person and their problem. They look beyond the exterior and hear beyond the words you’re saying.
I’m praying very much in this season, because people are dying before their time, because sometimes they didn’t receive the warning they were given to get their lives together, or somebody didn’t release the Word of warning that God told them to release.
I thank God for the true intercessors and prophets along with the leadership that He has in my life, who pray and stand in the gap for me. Many times, God gives them confirmation to me about attacks, or God shows them my enemies or an unforeseen attack.
Often in prayer, God shows me things before they come, or reveals them through a dream or vision. I strongly believe that He will always warn me before the enemy strikes and He does. Sometimes we are hit, because He sometimes shows us people whom we don’t want to believe would hurt us.
I have learned to hear God and believe what He says about everybody. He has never failed me.
As a leader, I don’t get pleasure in releasing words of judgment to somebody whom God directs me to, but I must obey The LORD. There are those who take heed and turn from their wickedness and live. Then their are those who hear the warning and make mockery of what was released, and encounter the judgment of God.
Many people don’t believe God speaks prophetically concerning judgment and warnings, because so many of the prophetic voices are just releasing about cars, houses, or material gain. So when God sends someone with a word of rebuke, correction, discipline, or judgment, they call them false, not realizing that sometimes they are bringing a word that could save their life.
In this hour the end time voices are coming forth and they are speaking exactly what thus saith The LORD.
Whether people hear or not hear, receive or not receive, like or hate me, i will speak what God has given me to say, because I refuse to be judge for somebody blood being on my hands!
The voice of The LORD will be heard in this hour!
~ Apostle Barbara R. Thomas
Yes, it is very hard to speak the Word of the Lord, especially when not received by those who lift the shoulder! The Lord showed me that my obedience is fulfilled the moment I have finished speaking His Word! Then it is between the Lord and the hearer. The Lord really healed my heart and my spirit, because every time the Word is rejected or resisted, I didn’t understand why, and it hurt me, knowing I was being obedient. Then the Lord showed me the truth of the matter, and I am free! May the Lord really bless you more!
The same thing the Lord has showed me.
We shall just speak the specific Word – that he lay on our heart- and then leave it.
One shall not get involved in arguing or discussions, even if one have ‘right’.
This is also what He says here:
“And whoever may not receive you nor hear your words, coming forth from that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet
Matth.10:14
Powerful word…
For He [Who is the source of their prophesying] is not a God of confusion and disorder but of peace and order. As [is the practice] in all the churches of the saints (God’s people), The women should keep quiet in the churches, for they are not authorized to speak, but should take a secondary and subordinate place, just as the Law also says. [Gen. 3:16.] But if there is anything they want to learn, they should ask their own husbands at home, for it is disgraceful for a woman to talk in church [for her to usurp and exercise authority over men in the church]. What! Did the word of the Lord originate with you [Corinthians], or has it reached only you? If anyone thinks and claims that he is a prophet [filled with and governed by the Holy Spirit of God and inspired to interpret the divine will and purpose in preaching or teaching] or has any other spiritual endowment, let him understand (recognize and acknowledge) that what I am writing to you is a command of the Lord. But if anyone disregards or does not recognize [that it is a command of the Lord], he is disregarded and not recognized [he is one whom God knows not].

Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. [Ps. 6:8.]

They do all their works to be seen of men; for they make wide their phylacteries (small cases enclosing certain Scripture passages, worn during prayer on the left arm and forehead) and make long their fringes [worn by all male Israelites, according to the command]. [Exod. 13:9; Num. 15:38; Deut. 6:8.] And they take pleasure in and [thus] love the place of honor at feasts and the best seats in the synagogues, And to be greeted with honor in the marketplaces and to have people call them rabbi. But you are not to be called rabbi (teacher), for you have one Teacher and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone [in the church] on earth father, for you have one Father, Who is in heaven. And you must not be called masters (leaders), for you have one Master (Leader), the Christ. He who is greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself [with haughtiness and empty pride] shall be humbled (brought low), and whoever humbles himself [whoever has a modest opinion of himself and behaves accordingly] shall be raised to honor.
