Speak! Only Speak The Word!
“The centurion answered and said, “LORD, I am not worthy that thou shouldst come under my roof; but SPEAK THE WORD ONLY, and my servant shall be healed,”” Matthew 8:8.
Oh what faith!
Jesus was ready to go to heal, but yet the centurion knew He had only to speak The Word and it was done.
The man by the pool for 38 long years wishing he had only a means to step in that pool. However he picked up that bed upon which he had been lying for thirty-eight years, and began running with it.
Jesus didn’t even touch him. He didn’t pray a prayer. All He did was SPEAK THE WORD!
The power of God went through that man and made him completely whole! He didn’t go through a healing line.
Nobody touched him. He wasn’t anointed with oil. No one placed him in the emergency section. No one dropped him into the pool!
Jesus just SPOKE THE WORD. And after thirty-eight long years of suffering, he was healed instantly!
Speak The Word only LORD!
Some, bound by doubt and skepticism, may say, you don’t really believe that Jesus is going to speak such words in this day, do you?
If I didn’t believe that Jesus still speaks The Word in this day, I would be wasting my time, preaching a powerless Gospel.
I do not preach a powerless Gospel, but a most powerful one!
He will speak the word today, for YOU!
He spoke The Word for the centurion’s servant!
He spoke The Word for the man at the pool of Bethesda!
He spoke The Word for the Nobleman’s son, and for the Syrophenician woman’s daughter!
He spoke The Word for the starving widow.
He spoke The Word for the ten lepers.
And He shall speak the word for you!
LORD, speak The Word only for that addict to feel the rush of freedom.
LORD, speak The Word only for that dear soul whose body is ravaged by illness.
LORD, speak The Word only for that lost soul who is seeking something to fill that empty void in their life.
LORD, speak The Word only for that prodigal, speak The Word for that weary one.
Speak The Word for that wounded one.
Speak The Word for your Church to rise up with a new strength and fire in their bones.
Speak The Word for breakthrough from the North, South, East and West.
Let that majestic voice unlike any other Speak The Word only!

So catch me up in Your story
All my life, for Your Glory!

Joseph was in the thick of it and no doubt he was feeling short-changed.
Mary turned up pregnant and Joseph didn’t know anything about it. He hoped to put her away privately, but before he could execute that plan, The Angel of The LORD appeared on the scene instructing him to take her as his wife. What she had conceived was of The Holy Ghost.
In other words, Joseph stay in your lane. Gods’ got this thing….
Life does not come to us as we expect it to all the time. Things we want, we don’t always get, and you can’t feel short-changed.
Some doors we just will not walk through, and you can’t feel short-changed.
Sometimes you pray and pray and pray, and the answer is “not now,” and sometimes the answer is “NO,” but you cannot feel short-changed. You look up and out of the clear blue sky, you find yourself feeling short-changed.
I am a witness, and I suspect that there are some other witnesses too. If you are obedient and faithful to God, you gotta go through some stuff, you gotta wait on God, and you cannot feel short-changed.
If you wait on God, you don’t know the blessings that God has for you down the road. You don’t know what doors God has waiting to open.
Just as Joseph was unsure of what was to come, he remained faithful and obedient. Do not try to jump from one lane to another as I heard The LORD speaking for me to write, “Stay in your own lane!”
Put it in God’s hand and let God handle it, when you jump into another lane, you give in to that distraction.

The LORD said, “I AM giving you the strength to move on.
The joy to overcome your pain. The hope to see your rainbow in this wilderness and see the calm to the storm.
For there is a time for everything under the sun, a time to weep, a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and now it is your time to dance!”

To hunger, to seek, to thirst
Awaken first love, come awake
And do as You did, at first
Spirit of the living God come fall afresh on me
Come wake me from my sleep
Blow through the caverns of my soul
Pour in me to overflow
To overflow

There is a power, death cannot alter,
And there is a grave, Hell could not steal.
It’s here to change every outcome, lift every head.
Win every battle, and raise the dead.
That right there puts a shout in my mouth and a spring in my step.

I feel His passion washing over the wilted, wearied trees and He is calling for Revival in our roots.
His love is rushing in to change, transform and restore. To fill every weary place with the river of his power.
It will be that destructive force to every impurity and poison trying to infiltrate your life.
Out of the ashes of His Love’s Holy Fire, out of all the broken pieces, out of all the wounds you have sustained, beauty will rise. He is building His temple on the ruins of a once chained heart and here He will make His Voice heard.
Our hearts cry out His name, our very being craves more of His Presence. He is about to answer us with a hurricane invoked by our feeble cries.
His Life breathing and speaking to these bones to rise again. From these ashes, strength and beauty will rise!
