South Africa Needs Revival!
The biggest hindrance in the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ on earth today is immaturity in the church.
Leaders lack the ability to make room for each other and to work together in advancing the Kingdom of God. Most are self-centered and selfish in hoping to achieve their own goals, ambitions and dreams. Seeking acknowledgement, the spotlight of attention upon themselves and hoping to fly their flag higher than everybody else’s flag.
In the process Jesus is bruised, His Kingdom robbed and His Glory stolen.
May God give us the grace to acknowledge Gifts when we recognize them. To make room for every man of God. To be unashamed in celebrating their ministry and call. To give them the honor they deserve and the room they require to do what they are called to do. To refrain from trying to hide God’s gems or keep them in obscurity in the fear of losing applause for ourselves and for pushing our own agendas.
The Gospel is a plough that no man effectively can pull alone. When we lose ourselves and our pride and personal ambitions, and throw our weight in together behind the Gospel plough, without sacrificing our identities, but as who we are and fulfilling the role God has called us to accomplish, we will get the job done and South Africa shall see revival!
The plough of the Gospel shall once again turn the soil of this great land as we have seen it happen many moons ago.
The Gospel is not about you – It is about Jesus! It is not about your glory – but about His Glory! It’s not about your vision – It’s only about His co-mission!
Each one seems to be trying their best to get their own slice of the cake, but it is effort without true reward! We need the whole cake and God wants to give it to His church. Not a small slice to each one, but the whole cake to His Body on earth.
When will we come together so that He can arrange for the party? When will we lose ourselves and our pride so others may find Him and be saved?
South Africa needs revival. God wants to send revival. How desperately do we want it? Are we prepared to let it happen?
Revival is not coming to you and your ministry. It will come when you are willing to join others, stop seeking position for yourself and when you are prepared to drop the ambitions of hoping to make name, fame and seek personal success.
God is looking for people who will look up to Him, and not look out for themselves.
I feel the vibrations of a Mighty Move of God beginning to rise. Will you come at His call and become a part of what He wants to do?
“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore,” Psalm 133.
Your place is waiting, prepared and ready!
