Something to Think About and to Remember!
5 Words in 1
Agreement to His Will is Yielding!
We can only ever truly be in agreement with God when we yield to His will.
True unity is the fruit of hearts living in Union with the Father’s heart, and of hearts being harmonized with His Spirit.
It is a supernatural act, not a decision, that is only possible where hearts have yielded to find God’s will and to continue to walk in surrendered obedience to Him.
So long as we have personal opinions and convictions of our own and have not entered the state of fully surrendering our hearts to the Holy Spirit to reveal His heart in ours.
Division will always remain a reality, not only among so called “denominations”, but also within them.
It is when we break with everything that disagrees with the Holy Spirit and lay our own will down, when He causes our hearts to become one with His heart, (Acts 4).
God’s Seeks Unity Among Believers!
We must come to understand how to obtain it!
And understand that such unity is only possible in Union with Him and with His will.
When we humble ourselves, surrendering our will to be swallowed up in obedience to His will.
When our opinions have been overtaken with a Holy desire for His Love and will to be done and to overtake us – and when this heart condition of repentance has been accomplished in us collectively, by the Power of the Holy Spirit – then alone do we emerge from the upper-room of God’s heart, flooded with Him and demonstrating or (oozing with) His Love, one for another, (Acts 4).
Unity is the fruit of surrender among brethren. It can never be commanded, promoted or brought about by men. It begins in the heart and in hearts bent before the Throne.
What prevents unity is seeking to enforce our own will, pride, and an unwillingness to submit one to another.
This is one of the major obstacles in the “church” today. We have leaders and followers, but few brothers and sisters.
When we look at the true church of Jesus Christ we find that brotherhood, Agape (God’s Love) and fellowship triumphed hierarchy.
When God breaks our hearts, He mends us together to follow Him, and we find that the greatest among us, wants to be counted least of all!
An Understanding Spirit
Understanding Spirit — PRAYER (Inspired faith-utterances) that cause mountains to move!
Praying the heart of the Father or praying in Union with the Spirit!
When we pray Spirit-led prayers we become God’s servant-vessels releasing His will and DOMINION on earth regarding things which He has purposed to be, by giving them life and Authority on earth through our words.
The key is to pray Spirit-led prayers (to voice, and utter the Authority in the presently Authorised will of God, seeking to be expressed through you).
Seek God’s Will!
To seek (passionately contend to experience) God’s will, is to desire for God to choose for you.
It is to seek no more or less than what He chooses for you and for your life and to be happy and content to live within the parameters that He has measured out for you.
This is the place of surrender and contentment where the personal ambitions of the flesh, the pride of Life (seeking to prove status and position) and living to serve self, finds its silent grave.
Something to Think About and to Remember!
Before you tell someone – “I am so happy I am not in your shoes!”…..
Always remember that the man in front of who’s gate Lazarus sat, probably said that more than once in his private prayers to God, (Luke 16:19ff)
Yet it was in eternity where the same man would have given everything he ever possessed, to be in Lazarus shoes, even if it were just for five minutes!
What may seem right here may be completely out of order there.
What may seem wrong here – 100% right!
Make sure to live with your heart closely knitted together with His heart.
The Rich Man and Lazarus
19 “There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and[h]fared sumptuously every day. 20 But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, 21 desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ 25 But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. 26 And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’
27 “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, 28 for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’ 29 Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’ 30 And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ 31 But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead,’” Luke 16:19-31.
