Some situations are Deliverance, not Warfare!
Some situations are not warfare but deliverance. There are times when we are attacked, persecuted or wounded, by a person. We think it’s an attack by the enemy, when in reality, it’s a set up by The LORD to deliver you from somebody whom Satan was going to use to really harm you.
Often God spares us greater pain, by allowing the true intentions of a person to be revealed before they can do real damage to your name or reputation. I find that people tend to believe what somebody says about a person, if they have been in close relationship with the person.
In my years of ministry, I always question when a person who worked closely with someone, suddenly turns on begins to bad mouth them, or tries to discredit them. Usually upon investigation, I find that the person had an agenda from the beginning concerning the one whom they are now attacking.
One of the things that I detest greatly, is a person who plays games with people’s lives, or plays one person against another. When you find a person who is always trying to find out information on others, and they get close to those they are connected to, and secretly try to use them to gather information, you have found either a Jezebel a witch/ warlock, or a sower of discord.
Most messy people always play the victim, once they get caught. In the Body of Christ, we often set ourselves up to be bitten by snakes. We allow persons who show evidence of being disloyal, or lack character, to gain entrance to areas of our lives that they never should have entered into.
We open ourselves up to the venom of that person’s poison, because we tend to let what we see naturally, override what we are spiritually, getting a check about by the Holy Ghost.
In all my years of ministry, I have never had as many people in ministry to complain about how they are being betrayed by spiritual sons and daughter, or other leaders, whom they have befriended.
Many are feeling the sting from those whom they have allowed in their intimate place, and who gained information that now is being used against them.
One of the things my leader would pound in my head was, NEVER LET YOUR GUARD DOWN. He would say, the one you least expect to be the snake, is the first one to bite you.
There were times I forgot this lesson because of my compassion to see people come into their destinies, and it cost me. I can’t blame the person for hurting me, when I allowed them the ability, and gave them the opportunity, to strike me.
I just have to take the hit, recuperate, rebuild and release them, and keep moving.
Leaders, never get stuck in an act of betrayal or a attack of harm. Never give anyone so much power in your life, that you focus more on what has been done, than on what has been learned.
We must learn how to see every attack, every betrayal, every act of harm, as a teaching and training experience. These things come to sharpen us in the Spirit. They help us to be more discerning, to remain in a prayer place, to love our enemies, to sharpen our spiritual eyesight, and to be more cautious in knowing whose voice we are hearing.
Everything I go through I use as a learning tool, or a teaching assignment. My grandmother would say, every thing you go through is to make you more excellent and you know she was absolutely right. The hurts, pains, heartaches, made me a person that could withstand the storms.
Learning how to overcome the opposition without losing your peace, is something we all need to learn. In order for us to continue moving after a attack, we have to learn how to adjust our minds and spirits, to not let the attacks become more important than our spiritual and emotional well being.
Don’t let hurt hinder you from your assignment in life. When opposition comes, keep your focus, keep your joy, never lose your peace, and remain in a place that yet produces love, because regardless of what people do, never give them the power to make you hate, remain angry, or live in unforgiveness.
