“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose,” Romans 8:28 (KJV).

This is a very familiar verse, and one of my favorites that I seem to say all the time. Lets look at it afresh today. There are some simple and very important truths here that need to be obtained for you to live your life to the full for Jesus.

First of all, lets clarify that Paul is talking to you if you are saved and know Jesus personally. This verse is NOT TRUE for the lost, its for them that love God AND, those called for His purpose. Its for you whom he foreknew (saw and knew beforehand) and whom He predestined (ordained) to be conformed (molded) into the image of His Son Jesus….. SO YOU WILL BE LIKE HIM. This verse, IF put into practice will make you more like Him (John 15:16).

How does it do that? BY FAITH…… Paul tells us that all things work together for good. The ‘THINGS’ are the words you say, your thoughts and reasoning’s, your intentions, and your work. They all will work together for GOOD. Why? First of all, because God is so rich in GOODNESS, and, also because He has given you the ability to think like Him, because of the Holy Spirit within you. The Holy Spirit is the one who leads and guides you, and He only does what the Father says to do (John 16:13-15).

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you,” John 16:13-15.

Now, at the very beginning of this verse is the word KNOW. To KNOW in the Greek is to SEE, BE AWARE AND CONSIDER, and UNDERSTAND. There must be a point of FAITH here. You need to SEE that God works all things together in your life because you are His….. meditate on it, and come to the place of actually understanding, that God has already, from the beginning, set forth GOOD for you. God is not a man that He should lie……. He is only of the truth…… but you MUST BELIEVE IT.
So I want to ask you today, are there things hidden in your life that you think could never be used for good? How about a recent experience that was bad? And on a broader scale, news articles of hopelessness and despair because of horrific events?

I want to encourage you to get a glimpse of how God see’s it. GOD IS GOOD, LET HIM MAKE IT ALL GOOD FOR YOU……… BY FAITH…… JUST BELIEVE HE CAN AND WILL BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU……. and watch a transformation happen for you from the inside out………….. its all in the proper perspective God’s perspective.

Call upon your Helper the Holy Spirit, He is ready and willing to show you the heart of God in your situation.
