Sitting at Jesus’ Feet
The Holy Spirit gave me this word today for those of you who have known The LORD for some time, but have become complacent in your relationship with Jesus.
If you look back to the past two to five years, you will find that there is no growth in your life, and you are in the same place spiritually that you were at that time.
Your relationship with The LORD has become unfruitful and somewhat stagnant. Some of you have lost your vision and it seems as if everything you are doing is repetitive.
You feel as if you are going around the same mountain. You can’t keep doing the same thing over and over and expect different results”.
The reason why you feel disconnected from The LORD, is because you have become lax in your prayer life and stopped reading The Word of God.
You lost your passion for the things of God and are no longer seeking spiritual encounters. Since most Churches have been closed down due to the COVID 19 pandemic, many believers have grown weary and lost their way.
We cant depend on others to keep us spiritually pumped up. King David continually stirred himself up in The LORD and was victorious in every battle.
In the book of Leviticus, and throughout the Old Testament, God sent Fire down upon the offerings and sacrifices on the altars. Although the Fire was kindled by God Himself, the priests had to continually keep it from ever dying out.
This required a regular removal of the ashes and anything which would hinder the Fire from burning. Jesus wants to ignite the Fire in your life once again and remove anything that is preventing this fire from being rekindled.
Some of you may be battle-weary from all the warfare around you. Some may even think that you know all that you need to know, and think that you could draw from what you have in reserve.
Although The Holy Spirit will teach us all things, and bring back to our remembrance all things that He said to us, its up to us to tend to our own garden daily. The Word of God says to build yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in The Holy Spirit.
Yesterday I was listening to Judy Jacobs teaching on speaking in tongues. She said that if you go into a foreign country such as France, you have to know the language to communicate with the people.
It is the same with the supernatural realm. You can’t access heaven without speaking the language of heaven which is tongues. I am not talking about religious rituals, but I am talking about the tangible Fire of God that transforms your life.
When you are filled with The Holy Spirit you will never be the same. We have to return to that place where The LORD provides manna daily. The manna that we ate yesterday is stale and it is not adequate for today.
The revelation that we received yesterday will not be sufficient in this season. Our level of maturity in Christ must continually go to the next level. We have to be careful what we hear and surround ourselves with faith filled believers.
There is a story in the bible about two sisters named Mary and Martha. They were the sisters of Lazaras who was raised from the dead.
Martha opened her home to Jesus one day, and as He was sitting down speaking, Mary sat at His feet and intently listened to all that He had to say.
Martha was distracted by all the preparations and she said to Jesus: “LORD, don’t you care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me!”
Jesus replied: “Martha, Martha! You are worried and troubled about many things but one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”
They were both in Jesus’ presence and heard the same message, but Mary was intently listening to His Teaching and Martha was caught up with the cares of this world.
In the natural, it is important to take care of things in our personal lives, but when we are spending time with Jesus, we need to pay attention to Him.
He wants to reveal the secrets of the kingdom of darkness and expose their strategies. Its time to rise up and shake off the spiritual lethargy. The LORD is calling us to pay attention to what He is telling us.
He will give us strategies on what is happening in the natural and what we need to pray for. Jude said in the book of Jude, to build yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in The Holy Spirit.
The LORD wants to release wisdom, discernment and understanding for the days ahead. It is time for a new game plan for your life. It is time to hear from heaven. It’s time to sit at Jesus’ feet and hear what He has to say.
“And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her,” “ Luke 10:41-42.
“Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God,” Romans 8:26-27.
“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints,” Ephesians 6:18.
“But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in The Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life,” Jude 1:20-21.
Blessings in Christ Jesus,

A beautiful and powerful word from the Lord; thank you Elaine. It is true; many of us become complacent in our seeking the Lord and walking with Him in the ‘now.’ I want to be continually hungry and thirsty for MORE of HIM today and every day become more acquainted with what He is speaking. “Be still and KNOW that I am with you” is what I hear at this moment. Hallelujah!
