Signs of Deception
Signs of Deception — Part 1
- You get so defensive about what you believe is true — nobody is allowed to question it.
You believe everyone should listen to you — the ones who haven’t heard of you or who don’t pay attention to you are lost. - You get angry about other people’s opinion and can’t accommodate them.
You are arrogant and tell people off… there is no humility in how you relate to other believers. - You are bitter!
Your words are laced with bitterness and people can actually tell there is an unhealed wound or trauma. - What you believe will contradict some scriptures and God’s divine nature but you will still pull out another scripture for defense sake which you will argue with even if it is out of context.
- You don’t believe in submitting to an authority and You don’t believe another person in authority should question you.
- You believe that many who have gone ahead of you in Kingdom matters are wrong, and that you are the one with the solution for the generation (there is nothing new under the sun — you cannot reinvent The Gospel.
Stay humble! - You begin to get sick and complain of depression — but it’s because you have opened doors to demonic spirits to afflict you.
- You don’t spend time in studying The Word, but in trying to go deep in realms through meditation and “hearing God.”
- You believe in hearing God through only going to the mountain to hear.
Going to the mountain is not bad at all but you must understand the protocols of mountain visits and the protocol of hearing God through His word. God can be heard even in your own room.
If you fantasize this thing, you will end up in a place where you don’t even open The Bible, because you believe God only speaks to you on mountains or in a certain voice. - You believe in hearing a voice in the spirit.
God’s Voice is not like the voice of a speaking man and it is heard in more than one way including through pictures, visions, inner knowing etc. - You don’t believe or keep other principles of The Kingdom.
- You bring confusion.
- You cause young believers to loose direction and become rebellious to authorities,

The problem is that every single one of us has been deceived and is deceived – even brainwashed.
What I and many others have discovered as a result of the Covid stuff is that those who are brainwashed are extremely resistant to accepting the truth of the matter and ignore or dismiss all the hard evidence you put in front of them. Essentially, the cognitive dissonance is so strong, that they don’t want to believe they have been deceived and brainwashed.
This does not just apply to covid. Education trains us to believe what our teachers tell us without question. Those who question what they are taught are generally not well received.
People interpret their experiences according to what they believe. If what they believe is actually false then their interpretation of experience leads to strengthening the deception and makes it harder for them to accept the truth.
Regarding scripture, by cherry picking verses, you can prove just about anything. It is vital to take scripture as a whole.
But something is bothering me with all this. It would appear that the areas where we are deceived, are the areas where we are powerless to advance against the enemy, areas where the enemy is able to advance. Deception is part of the strategy because it prevents Christians resisting the advances of the enemy. Worse deception often causes Christians to aid the advances of the enemy.
I like this. It’s clear and wise. Thank You!
Here is something to think about. The early church did not have any bibles. Let alone so many translations. They truly believed Christ Gods word was their life and lived in them. So many confess with their lips but their hearts are far from Him. Reading the Bible can be a good thing but most read it just to make others cry. Many adhere to doctrine not even in its pages. Some things to think about the time is short.
