Shine, Reflect the Source, Jesus Himself!
Nothing Shines
Until it is Reflecting the Source of the Light….
That source, is Jesus Himself!
Last night I was sitting meditating on the Lord and I went in the restroom to brush my teeth and there was gold dust all over my face. Then every time I went back there was more…
Now, this is where the dividing line comes in… When we begin to see signs and wonders it offends people’s minds, because the box in which they have God says…. “I know God can do this because I saw my grandma do that, but if it doesn’t fit into Grandma’s religion, then it can’t possibly be of God!…”
Read the Word! God did some strange things in the Bible! That is what it is all about. Men coming to the end of what they can do in the natural and then God coming on the scene doing Miracles, signs, and wonders (things we can’t possibly do in the natural).
He Loves showing up and doing things that just blow our minds!! “They always do it this way in my church… Etc….”
Oh, if we are ever going to see God move in our midst, we are going to have to enlarge our thinking, because He is about to blow the lid off of our religious mindsets… We are also going to have to have that Wide Eyed Wonder like little children waiting to see what Daddy is about to do!
“For God Who said, Let light shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts so as [to beam forth] the Light for the illumination of the knowledge of the majesty and glory of God [as it is manifest in the Person and is revealed] in the face of Jesus Christ (the Messiah). However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves..” 2 Corinthians 4:6-7 (AMP) .
“He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the [out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God’s] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power…..” Hebrews 1:3 (AMP).
“In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.
And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it]. There came a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came to witness, that he might testify of the Light, that all men might believe in it [adhere to it, trust it, and rely upon it] through him. He was not the Light himself, but came that he might bear witness regarding the Light. There it was—the true Light [was then] coming into the world [the genuine, perfect, steadfast Light] that illumines every person” John 1:4-9 (AMP).
“Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you — rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you.
And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising” Isaiah 60:1-3 (AMP).
You see, this Light that will be seen on us is, His Glory and Fire! It will be seen on us like it was seen on Jesus, as we reflect who He is, and allow Him to be God in our midst. As we look to Him and say Daddy, wow me, with your great acts and with your great signs and wonders! Hallelujah! He just loves to show up and show off! He loves to see your face light up when He does because it draws others to Him…
